  3. just went there... they said that the white stains has eaten into the chrome.. and that the only way to get it fixed, is to get all the wheels repainted.. costing about $800 They also told me that i can try getting rid of the stains by using cut n polish... but without success

  6. Hey guys and galz, Do you know a good place where I can get my rims polished and refurnished? Just need to get it cleaned, due to some stains. How much would it cost approximately? And if there is such a shop that does this... do they fix dings on the rims aswell? btw, I live in the south eastern suburbs.. if theres any workshops around there, let me know p.s. did a forum search, and found nothing specific with addy to stores...

  9. I'm hoping that it will fade away... I also used Mineral Turbintine, but with no success in removing the stains.. How long did it take b4 it started to fade away? A couple of weeks, months?
  10. I was using "Armor All Wheel Cleaner" (http://www.armorall.com/prodcat/pages/whee...eaner_2.21.html) on my Rims... I did exactly what the direction said.. I hosed down my rims, then I sprayed the 'wheel cleaner' on and left it for 60 seconds... then used a high pressure hose to clean it. Then, as it dries up, I see white stains on my rims... can't seem to get them off... do any of you guys/gals know how to get rid of this stain? btw.. I aint never gonna buy cleaning products for my car EVER again

    Insurance Glory

this is my first year driving the skyline.. so i'm getting Comprehensive.. but if i'm accident free for the year, then i'll get 3rd party but if my insurance do go down that low like wardest.. i will most likely consider it. :headspin:
  24. thanks druzilla32, your advice worked.... even though i wasn't equiped with professional utilities.. i got the bend with a cloth, hammer and a pair of scissors hehe. (plz dun laugh ) I used the scissors to cut the top and bottom abit.. so it can bend easier, then i used a hammer to bend the sides, by laying it on a hard concrete corner and a cloth covering it so my plates don't get scratch. Now... it fits perfectly on my line.. and i'm very happy
  25. I just got a pair of new number plates for my line. The plates are smaller.. according to VICROADS there are only two types of plates.. "big" and "small". They are both same in length but different in height. My plates are 37 cm.. but my line can only fit sumthing about ~32cm (in front). How do you guys fit the plates? Do you guys just bend them? If so, what or where do u go to get them bent without scratching it... or are there other alternative methods you guys reccommend?
