  9. gday guys got a Rb30e long motor for sale, its out of a 1988 manual r31 so it has the oil bungs and all that jazz you need for a turbo conversion. it ran well before we pulled it out but itd have a fair few kays on it and it didnt have a particularily easy life so ill say it suits a rebuild. there wasnt a nasty as bottom end knock or heaps of smoke but it had the typical single cam lifter tap, but anyone from round here wont be worried bout that engine is now out of car 80 bucks as a long motor come get it!!! Ashgrove Brisbane 0402 728 256 or PM
  10. could be the pump or the valve body in the top of the rack, does it do it turning in one direction? are there 'hills' you have to get over when turning the wheel (a spot of resistance that you have to push hard to get past)
  11. yer its a s12. come with the lawnmower powerplant ca20 as in later bluebirds and r31 pintaras. sweet looking little cars, could be a big rival to the ae86 if it wasnt for their shit drivelines and lack of aftermarket support. popular conversion is ye old ca18
  12. comes down to how much the driver is willing to push it. if you never push your car you wont know its limits. once you know its limits (after a few heart stopping moments) you get more used to and more comfortable to flogging it hard. my car is a pretty much stock aussie r31 and ive kept up with a r32 gtst with typical mods. on the way up he said hed give me ahead start and catch up.. at the end I sat and waited for a minute or so lol. that said ive had many close calls, mainly sharp down hill corners where ive been hard on the brakes, and the boat susp and shit tyres has lost grip and started sliding into the corner.. oh yes, my real identity is Takumi.

  18. I drive a r31 (which of course is inferior in every aspect) and I never get waves or anything unless I know the person. if I catch the eye of someone driving something special ill give em a nod n thumbs up but no one really bothers.. I guess its shows how skylines are the latest sik car and all the clueless f**kasses are jumping into em cause they are whats cool or their equally clueless freinds told them to get one. wonder how many so called skyline fans know what group A was?
