IPswich spare parts, blacksion warrego highway in BRIS have 2 r30 liftbacks, one is blue and silver manual with engine and TI wheels, still relatively complete (still has wheels on it) but if you wanted it whole youd have to get there quickly, other is white auto with a few bits missing, sitting among all the r31s and 910s

how easy is it to upgrade r30 brakes and suspension, i know itd be easy if you were in japan but there isnt much of a r30 following here you would still be welcome on r31 cruises with a dr30

not worth the effort, and if you were to do that much work, youd have to be stupid to use a squatty r31 rear end.

it was incredible seeing these three cars side by side itll be sad to see it go overseas

yeah im looking for a cheap straight coupe as a side project. although people who drive older rare cars like that often arent interested in us entheusiasts, I saw a R31 TRX pintara (very rare, even the 31 forum has no info on it) at the shops, waited for the owner and he wasnt interested.. said 'well what would I drive? and drove off. I would have offered him a decent amount of money for it too (seeing its a beaten up old pintara)

id say those were the M30 (hr31) ones but they look too big

there were 4.1 gears too in the pintaras (same car but 4cyl)

thats nothing, japanese r31s had some real lovely interior colours such as bright red or blue, and even the option of doily seat covers and curtains

that kid was me sold the car ages ago and got me a silo and rubbing compound is great stuff

on the 31 forum everyone just has a thread they post their pictures of their progress and whatever theyve been up to

I know this isnt a spotted thread but these are worth a mention today I saw 3 old skylines of interest a silver R30 sedan with a big nismo sticker on the windscreen and a massive fmic, saw it in sherwood theres also a yellow c110 4 door in pretty decent nick thats usually around rocklea and this white c110 2 door that ive seen around a bit in the centenary area. no badges but it has s3 gxe r31 hubcaps sprayed black and some old japanese brand name looking stickers on the front
