  1. ooh crystal vaults, i wish i was cool enough to drive around with a star on each wheel
  2. careful if you want to put it back in..dont use a saw
  3. you can make one if you have access to a lathe...we all have lathes in our garages, right?
  4. i did the 'ol respray white. on old rusty arms. looks like shit, dont do it. unless you sand it back so its smooth, prime, paint and polish..not worth it...super cheap ect sell replacement ones. probably the best idea.
  5. dont you just LOVE scriptwriting that sounds stolen from a powerangers episode? ff was a QUALITY film i was driving through some hills with a friend in a 78 troopy with a trailer on the back and he double clutched, to keep the load up. i can see why there but on a drag strip i dont see much point. i guess a lack of torque..or power..dunno
  6. try one of the automotive stores..you know which ones..universal fit are usually really loose, probably hard to find some for r33 seats. its always a nice suprise to get a new 2nd hand car with covers to find immaculate seats under them..
  7. you can get a battery charger for about 20bucks, 60 for some quality. ive got three dead batteries in my yard..sorry for going off topic but has anyone else used on of these? does it charge it right up or just enough to get it to turn over and let the alternator do its thing on a long drive? dee33 ive had that experience too..then i tried to jump it from another car and its battery died too..
  8. who said id had to cost alot? just getting more air in helps, and just a basic tune up(as guerilla said) big turbos, engine rebuilds and the like are more in everyway, so i guess the more you want the more itll cost you. now im just stating the obvious.. :uhh:
  9. i saw that pic..bit squishy but thats the downside of a twin turbo v6
  10. my friends friends friends so on owns (or used to) the r33 with the vq45 v8. would that fit in a r31
  11. hell yeah! im gonna do that to mine when i get it, whether a passage or a local- dark, low, sweet sweet rims. mmm. if i wanted a coupe id getta r33 or something. which i would still prefer a four door variant...
  12. nice car mate, the wing, its better than the typical yankee-ricerboy. just get it goin faster
  13. its a good theory, ands if thats a photoshop, thats damn good. but i agree, if its just plain piping it probably wont work. its cut of in the picture, but there could be something down there..butterfly valve..who knows..
  14. hell yeah- do something about it. it wasnt the sellers fault so dont give negative feedback. ive had that problem, goods arriving smashed due to poor packing. or damage not said in description. thats the thing about ebay, its not just and auction. its a gamble. but its good fun too. got to be real careful though.
  15. it would be an ideal 1st car if it wasnt so showy..if u get it, dont leave it up a dark alley.. i rekon an r31 is a ideal ist car. cheap, non turbo, little cop attention, common, rb series engine (cough) and plentiful parts, being a locally built car. the skyline heritage is also there with the round tail lights and 's' logo on headlights (series 3). cons- looks like a box (but this is the 80's styling i like), hard to find manual, not really a performance car, but i guess thats a good thing. my 2 cents, anyway. id rather a any silvia over an excel..or a van good luck
  16. i like wings. just decent ones on decent cars, not the boeing wings on eclipses such as on laugh at rice. but the lack of a wing makes the back look low and fat, especially r32s. how i like it :aroused: carbon wings look awesome with a carbon bonnet. my 2 cents..
  17. trust me, its nowhere near as bad as my basher. does it just rev like a manual with the clutch down? (ie neutral) and then hop forward? Thats usually a slight indication of slippage
  18. haha! thats a good idea!
  19. yeah i noticed that once...walked past a nice s15 and the blinkers flashed. gave me a bit of a fright too, but the alarm didnt go off...neat little system..
  20. mongoose are pretty good, but the alarms really....hmm..cheesy ive thought about a battery switch hidden in a place where no one will find it..has anyone done that? does it work, or does it muck up electrics ect
  21. can picture the headlines of the newsapapers already....
  22. sounds like fun! teach people a lesson for making your car LOOK fully sick and having it slower than stock.....now for some REAL performance cars....by my books anyway....
  23. i beleive it was a gtr not a gtst that was compared...who cares anyway
  24. slightly off topic but the top secret 35-series is damn sweet. see, they can look nice and fat.
  25. i know i started it but :offtopic:
