  1. r34 its unique......its newer......its modded....its driftable.....umm....its unique id rather a r34 gtt over a r33gtr anyday im not saying the gtr is bad, its great, but there is too many r33's around. r34's are a unique and rare thing. people know about the r33 now. i almost prefer the gtt over at r34 gtr. more....subtle. what colour are they? u got pics?
  2. if u want a low kit and low suspension, and if its a street car, you could consider airbag or adjustable suspension. just wind it up at a gutter. but, like everything, it costs money. no kit is good, but id go for a subtle aftermarket item.
  3. well, if a sr20 bolts up, its a good drift engine, plus its different. why not an fj20? Thats different! that a killer conversion, nismor31jet! rb26 in a r31.....never thought itld happen
  4. good point. what u pay for is what you get. id love one of em big ones, but i dont have that kinda money, anyway, so these little ones are fine for me.
  5. there is a lack of r31 front bars avaliable. my favourite is the r31house. the gts2 kit isnt bad. that looks great r31 power!
  6. do u drift? caus if u do the sr is better. id do a rb20.
  7. well, those models are great but doncha think there just a tad too expencive? If ur like me and want models other than you typical burrago ferrari and you still a cheapskate, then this is something good ive found at the local markets there is a stall selling 1:32 models of things like wrx's , supras with the big trd-denso-toms-whateveritis kit, celica's, lancers, and of course, the r34. there are others, such as vipers, old chevy utes and panelvans, crysler voyagers, smart roadsters and so on. and there only seven bucks! As much as i would like that big nismo350, these are good value. whatchu think?
  8. ive heared about this nitto game. what is it and where is it?
  9. ive played both gt3 and gta3 to death. can wait for gt4 and san andreas
  10. out of curosity, what colour is it? good luck.
  11. the key is to make it light. i once got a crx down to 200kg. beat any car, it could.
  12. maniac mansion on the NES was pretty cah-raaazy, but strangely involving......
  13. oh yeah, and ive got a pull back model of a 34gtr. pretty good deitail for seven bucks!
  14. where can u get in on the web, if at all? prob the best model ive seen. and boy, i haven't seen many models! lot better than the ferrari i glued together, with smears on the windscreen and the engine glued together wrong. do u put it together?
  15. ok then who nows where to get a kit (and other stuff) for y31 cima's? i had a look at the junction produce site, but nyaah. anyone?
  16. go to the r31australia club site. or ask sky_031.
  17. yes u can. its called "natural aspiration." the prius is a good idea, but forget about a decent engine.
  18. sorry. can't beat the haki-roku ae86. does anyone have a genuine "panda" levin?
  19. thanks. thats good.
  20. here's a quote from a book called "australian cars" i found- "Nissan also wanted to be in on the act* , especially since it was supplying the engines and transmisions for the commodore. Its solution was to the problem of building a family car was to take its four cylider medium sized pintara, fit it with a six cylinder engine, rename the car skyline, and market it as a larger car. this seemed to have worked, as........" My point is that the pintara was based on the JDM skyline, and the aussie r31 was based on the pintara. Is this right? *= earlier before this statement, the book was saying about how there was a battle between holden, ford and mistubishi.

  22. hey, i said correct me if im wrong! im getting this from looking at them, i don't have one- yet thanks all for clearing up some facts. hmm.
  23. theres the Jenesis Dr30 site, along with a few local dr30. Searching on google is'nt the best way. I can rarely find any info about whatever i am searching for. For example, if any companies make a front kit for the mz20 soarer, or info about the soarer alone. So i ve taken to using altavista, and with better results. By the way, does anyone know of a mz20 kit? when u say sr20 bluebird, u mean the japanese one? cause the local 80's one had a L20b.
  24. just want to get some facts straight. The r31 skyline is pretty much the pintara, which hade a L20b engine. Nissan australia based the pintara and skyline on the japanese version. The skyline is basically the same car as the pintara exept an rb30de and different tail lights and frount styling (in the 3 series). The japanese version had the turbo rb30det and similar tail lights to the aussie one, but with the no plastic covers, and projector headlights. the japanese only had the gts1 and gts2. correct me if im wrong. oh, and does the local r31 have 4 or 5 stud rotors? thanks
