thanks guys, yeh i was just curious because the amount of people attending this meet may be the same as the megameet last month (that i didn't attend) and therefore will undoubtedly attract the po-po to set up defect stations. don't want to be done for anything like a silly aftermarket boost gauge if it comes to it :\

I have an aftermarket one installed and set up on my dash next to my cluster because to replace one of the stock would mean to replace them all. Is it a defect to set it up there even though it comes stock with gauges?

hey all, In regards to aftermarket boost gauges, are they a defect? I'm going to be attending the street cover 2nd anniversary meet tomorrow, and have heard that aftermarket boost gauges are defective items? could someone (or people) please confirm or deny. cheers

So i've just spotted a coolant leak somewhere in my system after filling in some new coolant. It's splattered around the airbox area, but more so underneath it. Not real sure where to trace the leak to, it's too dark to see at the moment. This sucks

I've changed the oil every 5000km and also changed my fuel and air filters. I haven't touched the coolant though lol. sweet, thanks for all the info guys! I'll go grab some pre-mixed and top it up (:

yep my water pump was changed. The reason why i want to change my coolant, is because i had a look in the coolant reservoir and there was nothing in there. Was going to simply top it up, but had a read around the forum not to mix two different coolants. I'm not sure what's in there at the moment, and i'm scared my car will overheat soon without any in the reservoir. And the radiator still has sutff stuck in the fins lol.

Inbox please thanks mate, but Ingleburn is a bit far from me I was considering buying a new one, however it's flushing my coolant system that's a problem. I've had a search on these forums and can't find definitive tutorial on how to do it. Everyone is saying to do it different ways :\

Hey all, Just wondering where a good place to get a skyline service done? My last one was the major at 100k, and im ashamed to say I haven't serviced it since then (currently at 120k). I have a '98 34 GT-T and live in Western suburbs NSW, and an approximate price range for one would be appreciated too. I know i need a coolant flush and to clean out my radiator cos it's got leaves, bugs etc in the fins, and i was quoted $175-185 at TSI. But i was thinking I may as well go for a service since i'm over-due for one too lol. Cheers!

I think i have the same problem. Window when half up keeps sliding back and forth when i drive. When i need to put it all the way back up, i have to pull the window back all the way otherwise it won't close :\

Nah i couldn't find the tungsten, they had none in stock. I just chose something that looked similar, it was called Sandstorm (Holden sandstorm is the same thing also). No cracks or anything, and no clear either.

lol thanks, It's a shift extender with a solid short shifter base. The knob i got a while ago separately. makes it that much more fun and easier to shift

sorry for the crappy quality, bad lighting in the garage! Had a bit of trouble getting the AC control surround off, mainly the clips around the temp control knob. Just snapped it open and glue'd the clips back after lol.
