haha good to hear. I'm still getting use to this Melbourne weather. It does my head in.
-
oh wow! Yeah definitely not that one. Her's left from and returns to Sydney so hopefully I'm safe :S

The missus had third party fire and theft on it so it's covered for 3 grand worth of damage. Luckily I was on the policy so I could sort stuff out without her here. Fingers crossed it's not written off but they did a nasty job inside the car. She loves the car though so it's going to be rough breaking it to her when she comes back from her cruise tomorrow. Our lease is up in Feburary so I think i will look at a better suburb. Didn't really do too much research when we first moved here at the start of the year.

It was my girlfriends car too and she comes back from a holiday tomorrow. Surprise!

Heya folks, the time has finally come to move my baby on to someone new. I have owned this car for 3 years but since moving to Melbourne I rarely Have time to drive it and do not really have the room for it any more. Since buying it I have made some minor tasteful modifications and kept it regularly maintained. The car is a 1999 R34 GT-t with 209K on the clock. I bought it at 160K and since then most of those though are highway km on trips from canberra to coffs harbour, melbourne and sydney. The engine is still healthy and has purs along nicely. Since owning it I have replaced pretty much all the seals, gaskets, hoses, pipes, belts pulleys and I have always serviced it with Motul Turbolite for the motor and Gear300 in the Gearbox and diff and high performance Motul brake fluid in the brake and clutch system. some of the modifications to the car include: Turbo back 3" exhaust with a fujitsubo muffler with a flange on the exhaust to attach either a straight through pipe or a quieter muffler Greddy oil cooler Blitz turnflow intercooler Red Recaro SR3 seats. Both with new genuine pirelli mats ordered from recaro Spitfire coilpacks with iridium spark plugs Cooling pro all alloy radiator with greddy radiator cap Bronze Rays Nismo LMGT4 17" wheels (F:8.5" R:9") Heavy duty clutch Height and damper adjustable coilovers (BC in the rear and GAB revolution 2 in the front) Nismo solidshift shifter Nismo smoked indicators and repeaters in front bar and on front guards Genuine R34 floor mats High flow walbro fuel pump New high quality ADR approved alarm system with immobilisers HKS mushroom Filter hidden by a Hi octane cold air box R32 10psi wastegate actuator Intima high performance brake pads with slotted rotors Turbosmart recirculation valve The car will also include: Nistune programmable ECU Justjap highflow SR20 fan blade with RB engine adaptor Low KM JIC magic height and damper adjustable Coilovers Cusco adjustable rear camber arms Jab performance bump steer adjustable outer tie rods and heavy duty inner tie rods with built in lock spacers. HICAS lock bar with new hicas ball joints and rack ends Body wise with car is straight with the exception of a tiny dent on the drivers door and the boot and a few minor scuffs and scratches. Other things that need attention is the front windscreen is cracked and the rear tyres are starting to get low but still legal. As well as this I am missing the plastic surrounds for the front fog lights. Depending on sale price I can get these issues sorted for you. The car currently has ACT rego until the 20th of March next year. As I am flat out with work and am a shift worker I do not have the time to organise a roadworthy, however as I no longer use the car very much and am keen to find a new owner to enjoy it I am very negotiable on price. This however, does not mean I will be accepting unreasonable lowball offers. Price: $15,000 neg NOTE: Due to me not having a lot of free time I am not interested in joyriders. If you do not have the money ready to negotiate and buy I do not have time to find a time to show you the car. It's as simple as that. I am also not interested in selling any of the parts seperatly and am not interested in swaps. Contact me via PM on here or shoot me an SMS and we can work out a time to talk and for you to come have a look at the car. As I am a shift worker please message before calling. Cheers, -Andy B

Hi all, Sadly due to moving interstate and not using my car much any more and having other commitments I have decided to sell my 1999 ER34 GT-t. It has just under 300K on the clock, I got it at low 200K but put a lot on with highway km’s from many trips to coffs, Melbourne and Sydney over the last 4 years or so. Also has rego until the 16th of November. Interior: Replaced carpet with a much better condition one. Red recaro SR3 seats with Bride a juarn seat rails. Nismo Shift knob. Genuine R34 floor mats Exterior: Factory nismo/altia body kit. Front bar and bonnet just resprayed. 17x8.5 17x9.5 Bronze Nismo LMGT4’s Nismo Solid shifter New alarm and imobiliers CD player and speakers. Engine and driveline: Recently compression tested while it was off the road. All cylinders around 125 with the exceptioun of 4 which was around 120-122 so still close to the others. Blitz return flow intercooler. Replaced standard turbo wit ha lower KM turbo with an r32 10 psi wastegate actuator new turbo gasket kit was washers for oil and water lines. Spitfire coil packs with platinum plugs Replaced AFM with a low KM version. Replaced exhaust manifold studs and put on a cometic exhaust gasket HKS mushroom filter with a hi octane racing cold air box around it. Cooling pro alloy radiator with HKS radiator cap Walbro fuel pump 3’’ exhaust with split dump pipe Tomei oil filler cap good for sub 10 second runs. Unknown very heavy duty clutch (unsure as it was already in the car) I have never had a problem with it. Greddy oil cooler with Grex thermostat sandwich plate. Suspension: Gab coilovers in the front and BC coilovers in the rear and will also include a full set of JIC magic coilovers i was going to put in. I also have a box of stuff I was going to put in to replace worn out stuff which includes...Jab racing bump steer adjustable tie rod ends, jab racing inner tie rods with built in lock spacers, cusco adjustable rear upper camber arms, new hicas ball joints, hicas lock bar, hicas rack ends and i am sure there are a few more things in the box. I also have a box somewhere either in the ACT or VIC that has a bunch of other spare parts in it. I guess I will ask 10K but i am very negotiable as i rarely use it any more and don't really have the space and when i do drive it i rarely get over 40km an hour anyway. If you are keen PM me on here or send a message to 0420 861364. (please message before calling as I am a shift worker so my hours are all over the place and so is my sleep) The car is currently in northern Melbourne at the moment but I will be moving up to the ACT in the next few weeks. I will hopefully bring the car up with the next week or two and will leave it at my old mans for him to sell for me. Will post up better pics tomorrow.

I do like having fresh breth though. The issue with rego was that i just wanted it in Vic rego so it would be easier to sell. I was initially told that if it was an interstate car with current rego i don't need an inspection, i just need an appointment to hand in plates and they would honour my rego. Today i find out that because it was an import never registerd in vic they dont have my compliance plate on record so it will need to be a full rego inspection and ID check, which i would fail because i am in no position to spend money putting my car back to stock just to get it into another state just to make selling it easier. I will just leave it in ACT rego and sell it cheap enough to sell it quick but still not make a massive loss. I barely drive it here in melbourne so it's just dead money really...still...it will be sad.

Okay folks. It is going to be an absolute nightmare financially and physically to get the 34 registered in Victoria so I think I am just going to sell it real cheap to someone in the ACT if they want it. We only really need one car here in Melbourne anyway. What do GTT's go for these days?
-
hey folks, Throwing up a few pictures of my r34 gtt. I am moving down in a few days but my car is staying here until it gets out of the panel shop. Hopefully me and my girlfriend will have our own place by that time as well. My lmgt4's just after getting them A quick photo just before putting it on a truck to the panel beaters.

Hey folks, As some of you already know I am leaving for melbourne in a few days once i finalize stuff with our lease. I just thought i would write a little goodbye. In my time hanging out with the ACT SAU crew i have met some awesome folks and had some awesome times playing break the car and hanging out on fridays. I hope the Vic crew is as easy to get along with. You guys have been a valuable source of information...and parts. I will be back up at some point to pick up my car and a few other things once we find our own place down there so i'll try to come out to a meet up if i can. I wish the best for you all or at least probably most of you..maybe Take care, Andy

Works wheels are sold. R34 cold air box, r33/34 front mount and piping and turbosmart bov all still for sale. Leaving town in a few days and would rather have some extra cash for the move than have to leave it at my old mans.

You could try some contact cleaner on the plug where the coil pack harness plugs in to the main loom. Could have some stuff in it maybe or could just be stuffed. I think it is quite common for them to go due to heat. The CAS could be kaput as well.
-
Dropping prices. Fmic and pipe work $100 Cold air box $100 Ewing mesh rims $100

White volks sold. Everything else still up for grabs.
