maybe you could make it go up and down by keeping a person or animal inside a caged wheel with just enough room for a cattle prod to jab them to make it go up or down?

The last couple of days I paid for a set of JIC magic coilovers, nismo solid shifter and a turbosmart plumb back BOV (because i am sick of the noise of my venting one and moving to vic so i really don't want unwanted attention from defect happy cops), a cold air box and hopefully picking up a goo condition turbo tomorrow to last until I can save for a highflow and work out what ECU I want. Calling the panel shop tomorrow and see if all my parts are there to take it in and get it on the road finally.

My old man has a 3 phase 2 post hoist out in gunning if anyone wants it for a couple of hundred or he's just going to take it to the tip I think. Any use to anyone?

I use motul gear 300 in my box. It's expensive but cleared my synchro issue right up and shifting feels great now. I also ran it in my diff as it's a viscous still so i didn't t need any lsd additives in it.

Hey folks, I am chasing a good condition R34 turbo, looking for little to no shaft play. Mine is leaking and has a bit of shaft play and i just need one to tide me over until I can save for an ECU and highflow. I have cleaned it up best I can, it's not super corroded so i will chuck the new thermostat in and get it running just so i can get it to the panel shop then as soon as it's out i'll take it to a shop who can get it out, replace it and do a proper job, i don't really want to cut corners on my cooling system.

I hope so, I want to get a cruise in once my car is back on the road before I leave town.

haha yeah he was like "I have sent you GTR hoses by mistake, they are not going to fit at all" He also said Nissan don't have that inlet piece as a serviceable part but said he would look around for me and get back to me with an answer for that as well as when he can get me new hoses. I might get my self one of those anodes as well. My drain plug comes from the side though, not the bottom so i would probably have to shorten the zinc rod.

TBH what i might do is just leave it for the moment. When i did the water pump not long ago there was no corrosion in the block and now looking inside the block where the thermostat goes it's super clean, same with the new radiator. I'm sure it must be built in to be sacrificial. I need to running to get it to the panel shop probably next week to get it fixed up. Once it's back on the road I think I will just take it to a good radiator place and get the to do a professional fix on it. I flushed everything out anyway to be sure and pretty much all the bit of the pipe were in the hose. *sigh* nissans... fix one thing find another, at least i found it now and not when it exploded in the middle of summer.

Does anyone know if i can find one of these locally? Nissan seem to be of no help.

Still waiting for a call from the panel shop. Oil cooler is on, just need to fab up a neater top bracket. It works it just doesn't look pretty. Fitted a factory AC thermo fan back as the one i was meant to have was never there. Also got some more parts so tomorrow i'm going to flush the cooling system and replace the thermostat and radiator hoses and cap. Should be all good for summer after all that.

Hmmm, i'm looking into getting one once my car is on the road.I am just going to box in my Pod filter. In other news my o2 sensor, radiator hoses, thermostat and radiator cap arrived from kudos today so i'll throw them on tomorrow and do my timing and use your compression tester just to see how my motor is going.
