Finally got around to making a proper bracket to remount the washer bottle and extended the wires for the plugs so now I have a functional rear washer. I tried to fit the ac thermo fan as mine was missing when I got the car and found the reason it was not on there was because it fouled on the intercooler core. I'm back at work tonight so next break I will find a thinner thermo fan and make some brackets for it or try and mount my intercooler a bit further forward if I can.

Followed a neat black 33 through kaleen on the way to work on my car. Was a few cars back and was in the micra so no waves exchanged.

I fitted up a greddy oil cooler up to my car today then went to put on the normal filter I use (z145a) and it appearsto be too big in diameter as it fouls on part of the sandwich plate before I can screw onto the thread. I know the thread is right because before I put it all together i tested the threaded bolt on the filter and it went on fine I just never tested it on the sandwich plate. What filter options do I have that are slightly smaller in diameter? I did a search and found some threads but couldbt find a definitive answer.

Fitted the oil cooler. Lines took ages to run because we couldn't work out where they were meant to go then found a picture online. Just need to get a smaller diameter oil filter because the z145a fouls on the sandwich plate. Once i find a filter that fits I can start it up and check for leaks and relocate one of the horns and the air temp sensor.

Cleaned out the back seats and floor mats and door cards with the shampoo vacuum. This was the result. Also pulled out my 02 sensor to have a look at at, Looks to be the original one =\. Hopefully my new one rocks up before I go back to work on Thursday. If the weather is good tomorrow i'll knock up some brackets and fit my greddy oil cooler. I keep thinking my car is all good then i see the front =\ Fingers crossed the panel shop calls me before friday so i can get it fixed.

Quick update. I got hit by a cops wife a while ago, her insurance is covering it and the panel shop is just waiting for parts. While it's in I am getting them to fix up any scratches and dents too. While its off the road I have replaced the worn out carpet and steering wheel that the leather was split and peeling on Once it's back on the road I an going to fit the Greddy oil cooler and add a power steering cooler as well as replace my tired turbo and while that is off I have a cometic exhaust gasket, exhaust manifold studs (because knowing me i'm probably going to snap a few getting the manifold off), new oxygen sensor and a turbo gasket to fit as I have an exhaust leak somewhere and thought I may as well replace everything as it's all probably due for it. Once that is all done I am thinking of going to a blitz or cooling pro return flow intercooler as it just seems a bit neater and replace the engine fan blade as the current one was trimmed to make my current return pipe fit.

I want to make the km's go the other way though, i guess it would involve the same process.

Hey folks, I'm looking at getting a nismo dash cluster and regardless of if I get new or used I will some how have to get the reading changed to match my current one. Does anyone know if this is a simple process like going to Nissan or an auto elec or is it much less simple?

Will side cutters and a vice work?
