Spotted a silver 34 at the lights at Kelly Holden this arvo and just around the corner spotted a black Skyline (not sure what model) with white front guards

The local car club up here has a Tri-Challenge with two other clubs each year. It started as a way to support the two smaller clubs and has grown in numbers each year with a round at the three clubs circuits Maybe SAU could do something similar with say a Toyota, Subaru and Mitsubishi club to boost numbers and help with costs Four rounds with each club hosting one event say a Wakefield day then a drag day and a hillclimb and maybe a standing mile or klm at an appropriate location somewhere. Points awarded for overall places as well as classes with points also awarded to each club based on members results with a winner at the end of the year. Drivers must compete in the same car and (maybe) class all year to be eligible as this would stop those with money spending big between events to score a win Could also maybe have a combined cruise/meet at the end of the year for prizes etc. This way the cost is only for running one event and you should get numbers at each event to make a profit for each club Just a thought anyway

So after splitting a top tank the other day I've ordered a new radiator Pick it up Friday and get to fit it on Saturday as well as a full service on wife's car and an oil change on the in-laws falcooooooon Busy weekend for me coming up

f**kin work Up at 1.30 this morning to take a trailer to Sydney and start a training course at 5.00 On the way home now bur still s waste of time Only good thing is this will boost the pay packet this week

Plus a lot of cars that aren't on here And +1 for a South meets North cruise Could meet with the Coast peps at Kariong or even Jez's and cruise somewhere from there Oh and the Newcastle MG club is very active but they do hire the hillclimb track out to other clubs for events

And wear a suit and tie If you don't have one borrow one that fits well

These As said more cruises Hillclimb at Ringwood maybe Karts at E/C In general just more events we can all be involved in as they seem very Sydney specific to me at the moment
