Don't Buy Ebay Injectors!
Widesays replied to Widesays's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Yeah there's always gonna be good and bad I emailed this particular seller n made sure these were direct bolt in injectors to replace stock injectors, he sed yes but when I received them they were 11mm in diameter n way too short, when the stock ones are 10.4mm n slightly longer. In the end after drilling out a stock fuel rail to compensate we had to source other injectors that were the correct 10.4mm diameter n length. Just a massive headache. From taking it to a shop were it shouldn't taken 2 hours has now taken a week just to fit some damn injectors lol. Just a warning to be wary of this seller not the entirety of all eBay sellers -

Not saying all eBay stuff is bad I love eBay lol but just this seller in particular is a shit talker -
Not sure if this is the right place to post this up, but I bought a set of 550cc injectors n they were close to impossible to install, had to modify them to fit them n just giving u guys out there a heads up to stay clear n maybe spread the word. His eBay user name is - clean-injection. The item number I bought was 170855484984. And before u all go why did u buy off eBay blah blah, u live u learn, my mistake is ur gain.

Hey there, from doing a little research, correct me if I'm wrong, but does the stock rb25 turbo bolt directly onto an rb20? Is this a worth-while cheaper alternative for a turbo upgrade? Also current mods, cat back exhaust, 12 psi boost, fmic. Would I need a re-tune? And what's the best amount if boost I should run if I do the upgrade? I'm located in Melb, Vic (south eastern suburbs) if anyone has an rb25 stock turbo for sale in great condition, n this is a viable option plz let me know. Thanks

Ok cool, thanks for the info guys, yeah I don't plan to modify this car all too much, went thru all the major modyifing with another car n kinda over it, just want something nice to cruise around in that looks neat. So I'll look into the nistune option, again thanks.
