Who Does 3.5" Exhuast Work In Canberra
Pattey21 replied to Pattey21's topic in Australian Capital Territory
cheers for the quick replies -
Stock body ftw. Unfortunately this is a losing situation, if you raise your car it will look ridiculous if you keep it how it is you will slowly destroy it. Unless you drive like its a low car even though its not low, it can be done just take the right angles nice and easy when faceing driveways, speed bump etc

Hey guys i have a sweet RS*R 3.5" catback which is great but it is way too quiet (for me) it seems a waste to get a whole new catback and i dont want to hack up the current one. The culprit is the rear muffler flows great but too quiet, basically i want to get a this(link below) to replace the rear muffler. Rather than cut off the old one and weld this on, i want to get to get this one made up to mate with the flange after the diff. So if need be i can bolt the quiet one back on. Can anyone recommend a place in canberra who can do 3.5" exhaust work. hey guys about two months ago i broke my throwout pinion/ball so had to get the box off to replace it. upon re-assembly i cleaned the throwout fork(without removing the thrust bearings grease), and used graphit powder on the shaft. now just the otherday when i release the clutch it geels a bit gritty like the throwout fork is not sliding smoothly. i mainly notice it in first gear when releasing a little slower. has anyone experienced this before? i think maybe i need to put more graphite powder on it or the throwout bearing needs more grease, or is it something else. cheers

Calling All Suspension Experts!
Pattey21 posted a topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
hey guys my car was sitting on a flat surface and noticed the drivers side was a bit higher than the passengers. after measuring eyebrow height the drivers side is about 4-5 mm higher than the passengers. also drivers side camber is -2.1 where as the passengers is -1.35. is the.negative camber difference also causing the height difference. i plan to get new control arm camber bushes the ones that have a camber adjustment and adjustable castor rods and coilovers the suspension is pretty much stock it has potenza shocks thats about it. is this something i should be worried about? -

Where to get Skyline Serviced
Pattey21 replied to r33skylinegtst's topic in Australian Capital Territory
think one of my rear wheel bearings is f**ked as a get a whine/hum from the rear from 60kph plus. any recommendations where to get it done? -
Hey guys, Ive noticed recently as soon as i hit 60kph i start getting a humming/whining noise from the rear, it is there whether in gear or not so i know its not the gearbox, and doesnt change if under acceleration or deceleration. When i get to about a 100 i cant really hear it anymore i think mostly because the road/tyre noise is louder. Is there anyway of distinguishing whether its the wheel bearings or diff. Cheers Patrick

hey guys looking for a catback either 3 or 3.5" for my 33. been reading through some search results and besides db rating and "personal oponions" cant seem to find any specs on cfm/flow rating or systems that are true 3". looking at reinhard 001, blitz nur, trust pe2, hks silent high power and apexi n1. any/all info on these or back to back testing/ comparisons would be great. cheers patrick
