So i was puling out my rotors to get them machined tomorrow and i was rushing it to beat the rain and when i was pulling the RHF caliper off it snagged on the brake line holder that attaches to the caliper so it squeezed the hard line a bit right near the nut on the caliper side. "YOU F@#KWIT!" were my thoughts anyway if any one had one lying aroung after changinh to braided lines, brake upgrade etc please let me know. Cheers Patrick

  6. Option to as there viscous is use a heavier grade oil. I used to drive around with a locker in my r31 if its not rediculously stiff then should be fine. Better off buyimg an auto diff 3.9gears and they're easy to come buy.
  7. So previously i had problems crunching 4th and so i changed to smurfs blood "shockproof" and it fixed 4th. It was fine for a while 2000ks now it is notchy in 2nd 3rd and 4th. Also i noticed that i cant shift straight into 3rd and 4th without notchyness and if i do it slowly it follows a dog leg into gear. If i do a dog leg into 3rd and 4th it shifts fine. So im thinking my selector is bent as i dont believe that this could be the fault of the gearbox oil. Anyone had any simmilar cases or thoughts to my problem. i didnt think worn synchros would cause a dog leg shift into third and fourth.

  10. Hey guys so im so sick of being poor (apprentice) so im going to fix up my ra60 so i can do delivery driving for more money. Found someone with three silo wheels. So need one silo wheel or any set of wheels with tread the wider the better. So if anyone has any for real cheap let me know!

  14. Hey guys my fourth gear synchro was worn. So i switched from motul ff lsd type 2 to redline shock proof. It stopped 4th gear crunching but now 2nd and 3rd are notchy and can crunch. When i drained the motul only 2.9l came out and when i filled it with shock proof i could fit 3.7l approx. Id rather just have one shit gear and The motul was only 5000ks old and ive kept it and am wondering whether to get another litre and throw it back in. I will eventually get a rebuild but it is giving me the shits atm. Besides a worn box could it be anything else eg clutch alignment, overfull/underfilled gearbox, shifter seems okay, rubber boot on end of shifter is fine etc. All advice much appreciated.
  15. Just keep them as skidders. Fyi they have little dish lol and 8s +35 is a pretty shit offset and they tuck in heaps

  17. You can run a 50/50 e10/genkem mix and keep the standard fuel system, injectors and ecu map. Im brewing some right now :-)
  18. Yeah cheers got one from trojan $22. At least now i know my clutch has plenty of meat. will probably invest in a nismo one later down the track.
