Why didn't I read this this morning? Had my coils out chasing a break down in ignition and found my plugs were gapped really badly. Also I don't think the plugs had ever been changed going by how tight all the bolts were including spark plugs. My 34 was running around 13psi on standard everything but when reved hard would go "b b b b b b" does this sound like coil breakdown or miss firing? It's an auto and it's previously only ever done right before changing gear but was doing it all day Sunday.

Parts are located in Ballarat, about an hours west of Melbourne.

Hey all.. Just went in to my local Autobarn for some hose and enquired about brake pads for my S2 C34 Stagea and "it just so" happened that they had a set of Bendix ones, the are DB1170's but looking here I think they may have given me the wrong ones? Can anyone confirm if DB1170's are right for a 2000 model Stagea?

I love manuals, i've owned about 30 cars in my time but my 34 is my first auto. I only got it coz they were so much cheaper than the manual ones to import, and i have everything except a clutch sitting here to convert it... So i was mainly wondering if it was in the tune that made em have less torque. Good to know it's just coz auto's a power sapping, extra heavy pieces of junk. Still dunno why they'd have a different type of LSD, but I also have a manual diff sitting here too

I only ask coz I replaced the brake pads a while ago, one had morn that much there was no pad left and it was grinding into the backing plate. I was told then to check the shaft for ply but totally forgot until i read these posts... i'll check it out now

Still got any of this stuff? I'm chasing a 3" dump pipe and a hi flow cat

Did u just grease up the sliders Scott? Is there a special grease to use or just bearing grease? Need to look at mine tomorrow

Can someone tell me why manual would have Helical lsd and auto has Viscous? Also why would manual have more torque than auto?

Mine drives a Stagea and would love me to mod it in any way i see fit. If you dont mind me asking, how much did the front bar sell for? We searched for one for ages after her's got pranged and she wanted the Dayz bar back on not some other shitty bar and we found one the same but was missing the front carbon fibre lip piece. Just interested to know what a Dayz front bar is worth.

Last week had my driver side front repaired after an accident a few months ago and finally fitted some 18's to the car... she's now looking mint but needs to be dropped an inch still i recon.

I've just bought my old Mazda MX6 turboback for 700, sold it for 4 and my mate rebuild the engine, replaced heaps of stuff like bushes and wheel bearings and yeah was gonna trade it on his new car but offered it to me for the trade in price... Anyway if you can find a manual one of these in good they're always under 5k and some times I think i had more fun in that than my skyline (i'll find out when i get it back) coz it's so scary being a front wheel drive turbo, but boy did it grip when ya finally needed it too lol

Is that a bolt on affair for a series 1? As for the dump i'll see how much i get paid monday.

Hey mate, what size is the $50 split dump pipe? Would is suit a 3" exhaust? Also I have the exact same exhaust that you are selling, for anyone interested it is a top quality exhaust, it's not overly loud and definitely not droning which i like.

There are very few imports getting around in Ballarat. Ive only been here 4 years but came from Melbourne where just about ll my mates were into datto's, early toyotas and Imports... Bit of a culture shock, it's like stepping back in time hahaha.. Definitely a Commodore town but i know of a few converts too which is good.

I know Redan has a GTIr Pulsar but not sure if it's one they traded or imported... as for American Made Cycles I don't think they really sell anything any more, still see the same crap arsed American shit heaps there that have been there for a few years now. I often wonder if it's just a front for other more dodgey activities lol.

100 cell cats dont pass emissions testing anyway do they? I'm currently weighing up the pros and cons of fitting a decat pipe coz the way i see it if the 100 cell is gonna fail the test i might as well go the cheaper option that fails it too
