  1. Hi.. Havent gotten my R34 yet but will have in a few weeks (getting complied). Just wondering what the gauges are in the little pod above the strero/climate control. I'm guessing oil pressure and other stuff. Mainly wondering if there's one that's perhaps not important that i can remove and fit a boost gauge in it's spot. Tried search but the only pics that i could find were of the Defi guages, dunno if they are different guages or not.
  2. I personally wouldn't by one on the second market here in Australia. Buy one straight from the source (Japan), low k's, untouched by bogan hands, and a but load cheaper. I'm importing an R34 GTT sedan for 9k with only 77,000k's on it, aftermarket exhaust, 18's, body kit and a few other tasteful mods... it's an auto which is a downside but for 2k more i coulda gotten the same thing in manual and then for another 2k coulda gotten a coupe in same nic etc. So 13k. Go through a broker/importer, surely you'd have a few up yr way on the gold coast, or there's a few down south. Shoot Phil at Tokyo Prestige an email and see what stock he has either already here or awaiting a purchaser to be sent over. I have bought two cars off him now and both have been quality.
  3. Looks to be from the same seller that my mate purchased one for his RB30 turbo in a Patrol. Has been thrashing the thing through the bush getting it hot and then cold going through mud puddles and hasn't formed any stress cracks yet so can't be too bad. For the price you just cant beat them... however can;t comment on whether they are good for power or not.
  4. It landed at the docks on wednesday... getting damn excited. Can't wait for pics of it once it's detailed... Last car I got off tokyoprestige only took two weeks to be complienced and detailed so i'm hoping for the same again (or sooner)
  5. Hahaha sure thing It's getting a full service the day I get it, as i do with every car I buy.
  6. Yes will be keeping it as is at least until I've bought another house. Got two kids to worry about these days so gotta think of them first, and i've been promising the missus new rims for our Stagea for a year now. First on the list is gonna be a crankin stereo, nothing over board just something that will shit all over the stock sound system.
  7. Well I haven't gotten mine yet (it's getting shipped over tomorrow) but here's a pic of the front bar if that helps
  8. I am importing one at the moment. I am in the same boat, love my skylines but i want something i can just get in and drive and not bother with gears, so i can taxi the kids around easily enough. Will be upping the power a little too, not sure about 300rwkw though haha.. that'd be nice.
  9. Hi guys... Been looking at importing another Nissan and came across an r34 sedan, turbo, body kit, a/m exhaust and a few other bits and pieces... Should complement my Stagea nicely i recon. Paid my deposit last Monday and it's boarding the ship this Monday. Wont be able to pick up till early April though due to a few things, but still i'm hanging for the day I get it home. PS I am getting it through Phill @ Tokyoprestige.com whom i got my Stagea through.
  10. Wish i had my Skyline already... Picking it up 4th April so any cruises after that I will happy to tag along.
  11. God how effing hard is it? Ordered some DB1399's through repco on wednesday said they'd have them thursday but somehow ordered in front pads for the stag... so then ordered them again and DB1144's turn up... Some people can't get anything bloody right.
  12. Had my Stag for a year now and have been wondering what a lot of the different switches do. Most I have figured out myself and I have a fair idea about this particular one but thought I would check. This particular one seems to be a switch and plug for an AC inverter. Anyone know if that is correct and if so can we run 240v stuff off it somehow?
  13. What's the go with E85? I have used it plenty of times with a stock ECU and never had a problem.
  14. OK... thanks for all yr help Zebra, it's been confirmed that this pipe is supposed to have a hose on it going to the carbon filter.
  15. OK... thanks for all yr help Zebra, it's been confirmed that this pipe is supposed to have a hose on it going to the carbon filter.
  16. Hey mate... here's a pic of the throttle body showing what I am talking about, thanks. Oh and as for the aac valve, i got one off a mate and they do have a spring.
  17. Yeah I do, the hard black plastic one. But it's nothing to do with that, this is on the actual throttle body itself.
  18. no idea what this has to do with my questions... I went and had a look at a mates and his has a hose coming off it but it just goes down by the engine mount so is still sucking in air.... i ended up blocking mine off till i figure out where its meant to go.
  19. This is a tiny nipple, like vacuum hose size and it's part of the throttle body, is that what you were thinking of?
  20. Hi guys.. Just a couple of quick questions... On the front of the throttle body of the RB30 down under where the intake pipe joins there is a small pipe connection that's for the Idle air when the throttle butterfly is closed. Is that meant to have a hose hooked up to it or not? If so, where too? And, is the AAC valve supposed to have a spring in it? I read somewhere to be careful when pulling it apart so as to not loose the spring, mine definitely did not have a spring. And help greatly appreciated.
  21. Always get 400-450k's to a tank before the fuel light comes on in our S2 C34 with Neo RB25t. However, last tank we only managed 350k's before fuel light came on.... any ideas why? For the first time ever the Engine warning light came on too.
  22. Mines an auto so probably not so responsive but was fun today in the rain.... i was still careful though as ive been driving it for 11 months now as an awd traction monster so didn;t wanna drive i as normal.
  23. It does look rather week with most of the force being being applied to the bar underneath your wheel well, and not the bar going to the very end of your rails. Should be fine for a jetski though whoch is about all I plan to tow with mine when i get a tow bar.
  24. Sweet... Only really wanna do it to see how it compares power wise to my R33. The stageas meant to have 20-30kw more but, but I recon the 33 goes harder. I guess it weighs as much as a small tug boat and it's driving all 4 wheels so this may eat the power figure. Thanks, i'll give this a go today just for shits n giggles.
