  17. They are the names of the actual stations themselves. ATV 10, HSV 7, GTV 9. All of those stations are in Victoria thats why they end in V. But in NSW the stations in Sydney are: TCN 9, TEN 10, ATN 7. They all ends in N because they are in New South Wales. In QLD they are QTQ 9, BTQ 7, TVQ 10, and they are all in QLD. Get the pattern!! The reason why they were refered to as these names is because each station used to run as its own entity also showing slightly different programming in each state. Now with the digital television telchnology they all run nationally out of one office, for example channel 7 national runs out of the melbourne office HSV. Channel 9 and TEN run out of the Sydney office (TCN & TEN). So the stations have now cut down there over heads by centralising their broadcasts to one city. Internally they still refer to them as the original names. You asked I answered!! probably not that relevent though, cool programming guides too!!
  18. Happy Birthday Bec!! Will try to make it along to your party for a few drinks but i'll be driving so it won't be a massive one!
  19. Prodigy - Voodoo People. And metal, Disturbed - Down with the sickness. Theres heaps more but those two are favorites.
  20. My 2 cents... I've never had a problem with any workshop or even Nissan dealer regarding the maitenence of my car. I have taken my car to a fair few different workshops before. Not once have I been treated like a 'silly' female or discriminated against in anyway. Having said that I would never take my car to a shop that doesn't have a recommendation from someone I know, in my opinion that would just be a frustrating experience because you a) can be overcharged and b) also don't know the person working on your car and that could be detrimental to the services they are providing. I also do some of the work to it myself. A lot of shops love that I like to learn and let me use their hoists etc for cheap but other shops I will just leave my car there to work on. Depending on what needs to be done. If its a basic service I just do it myself. If its something big its a must to take it to a good reccomended shop and you get what you pay for with things like tuning etc.... If you know how much other people have paid for a similar job ask for an estimate of what they will charge you. Then always ask that if it is going to be more $$ than quoted, they have to call and check with you before they do the work. Having said that every female friend I have has been majorly ripped off by mechanics before, if you don't set guidlines they will rip you off and also if you don't know what you 'should be' charged roughly than its easy to get ripped off to, get more than one quote if you need to and ask around before going to any workshops about their credibility. Its not just females that get ripped off with dodgy workshops, there are plenty of guys that would get ripped off as well. And then theres the old "This guy tuned my car for really cheap and its running XXXrwkw's now, it's so quick......" and two weeks later the engine blows up!!
  21. Email sent, maybe we could do the shoot at Calder on the club sprint day. Or we can just use one of the squillion photos I already have.
  22. Nope thats my handiwork, I know Roshan pretty well (so does adam), I've known him for a fair while now. They gave me the use of a hoist there to work on my car whenever I needed to and adam also did a fair bit of work on my car there while I was working, they also put in my new clutch and a couple of other mods as part of the sponsorship.
  23. Hey, In regards to the carsales thing, I just gave them a sponsorship proposal, but the company i work for just bought 41% share in carsales.com.au. We all work out of the same office though so I know them all very closely through work. They were my #1 contributing sponsor. And James, he should be staying over tomorrow night (he's not telling the truth on the just friends thing!!) so I'll get that autograph for you!!
  24. So as some of you know, I work for ACP Magazines and this week lil blu had a cameo photo from Dutton Rally Vic in Auto Action. I was quite disapointed with the shot and called the National Ad Manager who works on all of the Autmotive magazines (Auto Action,Wheels,Motor & Street Machine) to jokingly complain about how shitty my photo was in this weeks magazine. I sent him a heap shots and told him to get his editors to make it up to me in the next issue of Wheels which will have coverage of dutton in it. So the editorial team came back with this to cheer me up! Im still working on them to put my car into the next wheels, but this certainly made me laugh. hehehe!! Cover_1174.pdf
  25. Aye!!
