  1. *** Light comes on in Brain*** My bad - yes i see that now! Best of luck with it. I can recommend importmonster.com.au in that case. Lots of OEM bits. Cheers
  2. I should allaborate a bit on my previous post - for everyones benefit. Long story short; - Factory HID's - Fitted straight into my Headlights from the U.S. They sit perfectly in the aftermarket metal clip and the ballast screws to the bottom - per stock set up. - Yes - you can do it yourself - there is no wiring required - unless you want to light up the Halo's (I only have the LED sttip). In which case - Cut wire and solder it in. The front bumper needs to be removed. give yourself 5 hours or so if you havent dont this before from start to finish. - NO they will not be legal. However - most workshops will give you a roadworthy but just notify you that if you're asked to take them out due to defect - do it. - The lights will not point correctly immediateley after install.... you will need to spend time toggling the left and right / up and down screws in the back of the lights. You need to understand where the stock set up points - so you can adjust accordingly. Test this about 15M from a wall and If possible mark on the wall where the stock set up sits. On the V series you will notice the left light points slightly higher and to the side of the road. The right hand light (the one that will shine in traffic's eyes) needs to be put as low and straight as practically possible. This can alleviate some of the problems with no self leveling. If anyone needs tips, Im happy to help out. Done the job on two cars now....and I work in Bank - so any one can do it! Cheers
  3. Jayce - I Have aftermarket headlights from U.S I have attached the link below. Took me and A mate about 5 hours - hard bit is getting front bumper off. But second time its simple with practice. Sock might be easier - have the nismo one. Post me with any questions mate. 3470-projector-headlights.asp&docid=vCQhRAQNqisyRM&imgurl=http://www.slickcar.com/products/LHP-G35032JM-TM9241885E-02.jpg&w=750&h=750&ei=-PVXT8b3OuyhmQW4m-DADw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=610&vpy=193&dur=234&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=95&ty=153&sig=110179230568841931979&page=1&tbnh=142&tbnw=142&start=0&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:0&biw=1151&bih=786
  4. Hi 1st import, Funny that - 100% the first thing I noticed in the V....no turn dials! I quickly discoved thought that a few buttons do the same thing lol.
  5. Thanks For that - Starting to think the same about dyno operators. Only problem of course is finding one in melbourne or sydeny! Lookig at this stage that I might be making a trip up there to get it done. Thanks for your help - also good to see another 70th owner. Cheers
  6. G'day Sheldon - Nice write up. Looking and doing an uprev tune myself. i have contacted tokyo motorsports in Perth (Im from near melb) and they asked me to send over my ECU for an uprev "etune" - derstricting & throttle mapping tune. Does that sound right? BTW - aside of power - do you have some crisper response and a bit more above th 5000rpm zone?

  9. G'day Tonksy. sound nice mate. I wen tthrough the dilema of choosing V35 or GTT, Either way thought just like you i was flat out excited to be driving a top quality skyline Nice to see aswelll you have shifted from the dark side - IE Falcodores. Best of luck with it mate.
  10. I tend to agree with the post so far. I rekon wait unless your 100% in love with the GTS. Other wise It might feel like you were driving a honda with no V-TEC or a BMW 135i with an M1 bodykit? End of the day - do what you feel is best. But reliability is actually something you want on your P's (so in other words mum was right)
  11. Nice Choice - Original GTR is the go I must say!
  12. No worries - let me know If you do need any. been through a bit!
  13. thats big power. Make sure you check the vehicle specific forums on here and find out what bushings others are using. If your going to put new coilovers in then might as well do this at the same time.
  14. Big numbers. Another one to remember is the bushings. With that sort of power hitting the ground make sure you cover off on some strong bushes. Good topics in the vehicle specific forum on here about it.
  15. Hi Shannon. Looking Nice indeed. Since you mentioned coilovers thought it couldnt hurt to get some help! Depending on your plans - you will need to go different set up from word go. If you are chasing BIG power you will need something fully adjustably. Camber/Caster/Toe. Reason being - Big power application will obviously struggle fro traction (no tooo bad in 4wd though). So by adjusting toe out just a touch and a good small amount of castor, you will get the car to hunker down under accelaration & actually be straigtening the wheels for awesome straight line accel. If you want something OEM feeling and just plain versatile, a set of Nismo S or R tunes are the way to go. A little bit set and forget, but nismo just get things right! Best of luck
  16. G'day Rob. Sounds like we are in the same boat gtting a good V35 deal. I have had the same thing go on with english translation. Unfortunately the 70th anniversay has the carozerria (altough not all of them) and it cant be translated at all. So best of luck with yours mate.
  17. Hey Looks Nice. Best of luck, Im sure you will get some good help on here If you want to know anything about the V35. Has helped me!
  18. Thanks Mate - Honestly, I didn't Like V35's either until I saw this one. Was reviosuly a DC5R owner I think only 100 of the 70th Anniversary & Only 30 manual. So to get that and factory Nismo Bits was just a good buy. It was Stock with just the body kit when i bought so had to make it look angry. Cheers
  19. Looks Nice. Top Job
  20. G'day All. I joined basically because there's no Jap cars when I'm from. IE - People think DOMO is a brand of rice. Long story short - 70th Anniversary V35 Manual Nismo full Body Kit Nismo Clutch Nismo Sways front & Rear OX Motorsports Bushes & Strut brace Xracing exhaust Seibon Carbon Bonnet Advan RS Blitz intake & Earth Kit. Projectors - (but not the ahhh americanised ones) There is some pulley work and other engine minors. HKS SC Kit Is next. Cheers
