check the contections at the battery aswell and clean them up

you can get an adaptor plug, you can rebuild yours too, soulds like a reg and brush set needed

Did you ever hear it running before? You said it ran 6months ago, did anything ever happen to in between? hard to say its timming, if you need to be sure you dont have fuel spark or injection pulse 1st. If your in brisbane pm me, im a mobile auto sparkie. Really think you need to get someone to look at your car mate.

check the engine cont fuse mate?

sounds like a wiring short mate, might have to pull the dash apart to see the extent of the buring wires, are you in brisbane?

there is an injector fuse under the bonnet in the fuse box. check that one, I have seen this blown and many mechanics don't even notice it lol.

you say you a test light, is it a led test light? A 12v globe in a test light will not pick up switching to a injector. if you have spark and no injector pulse, i would think its a ecu problem

is the crank angle sensor plugged in lol, check fuses as said. check earth points near the temp sender aswell

sounds like a switch issue. dirty contacts. you can pull apart ans clean
