  1. It's unfortunate it doesn't have the original paint on it. Unfortunately vehicles such as this really need to have the original paint in mint condition to command top dollar.
  2. Only applies to the car you bring in as a "personal import". You can bring in as many cars as you like via SEVS without being restricted by a "time ban". So you can bring your DC2R in as personal import, then the other two as SEVS vehicles with no worries.
  3. So this is about the fifth I've washed and waxed my car....then 2 days later it pisses down raining while Im driving.... FK SAKE
  4. Your lancer is dead? So you're the guy who wrapped his Lancer around a tree at Sugarloaf?
  5. Lol it wouldn't really bother me because I know how much potential the s15 has after watching numerous Japanese videos and how much enjoyment I get from it. Built properly and it can destroy anything..... Same goes for an R33 GT-R, I have seen plenty of japanese videos of it terrorising the Wangan, and circuits of Japan. It has a lower drag co-efficient than an R32 GT-R (r32 - 0.4, r33 = 0.34), its lighter than R34 GT-R, its has a nice spacious interior, still has that 90's feel inside, and youll have more room to spend on modifications than if you were to buy a 34 gtr. The longer wheelbase of the R33 GT-R is why its favoured for high speed wangan runs because it has better high speed stability than the 32 or 34.
  6. Who cares what people think lol..... Anyway, if you're after an import like a 33 GT-R it's not even worth looking locally (this is because of the amount of shit you have to sort through that have been brought in previously by dodgy dealerships). Just import one through Iron Chef.... (srs). I always see really nice R33's go through auction in Japan. Youll be able to get an absolute mint one for around 25k landed and complied.... Black R33's look tough as f**k when done right....
  7. Notsureifsrs, Evo's will never have the street credit/presence that a Skyline GTR has on the road.
  8. Is it too late to enter this?
  9. When you're advertising a car as "accident free", it is a perfectly acceptable for me to note the boot panel gaps on the RHS side aren't factory and whether you could provide pictures as necessary to proove the car is indeed "accident free". Below is factory panel gaps for R33's...
  10. The boot alignment on the RHS Side isn't factory original.. To help you with the sale, you might like to take a photo inside the boot with boot carpet removed so that people can check the original seam sealer is there...it is a sealer between the floor pan and beaver panel.
  11. Was just about to mention that we all should stage one of those protests outside their dealership....
  12. Well, that saves me from getting up early lol.
  13. If you've gone really low with the coilovers youre going to need adjustable arms to get the alignment right
  14. So I've got a job interview tomorrow ..... Field Sales Rep..... Not sure how I feel about knocking on strangers doors to try sell them stuff. Seems like the type of job thatd get you punched in the face. Also applied for a style assistant job at kotsra westfield in one of the department stores =D =D
  15. R32 GTR's in immaculate condition (regardless of whether modified or not) will always fetch a premium. E.g. original bodywork, service records, no accident damage, immaculate paint, no rust etc
  16. Hey dude, definately cool that youve gone all out on this build. Found a video that may be of interest to you. If you skip to 3.20, youll see yellow R32 GTR making a 8.11 second pass and 1.018 sec 60 footer. They end up talking about the engine etc but its all in Japanese. EDIT: Just did some backtracing and found the full spec list etc.... http://www.bea.hi-ho.ne.jp/avance/yellowmonster.htm
  17. All the p plate laws mean is that it will take someone longer to acheive the speed they want to get up to... It just means instead of a p plater going 180kmh in a WRX, they are now in a rust bucket VN Commodore with blown out shocks going 180kmh.
  18. The things I would do to own this car So its the exact same car as in the tunnel? Edit: Did a bit of backtracing and wondering what happened to the original bodykit/wheels etc?
  19. I dont get it? Explain pls lol
  20. Lmao hit the nail on the head. Its good how with SAU Newcastle we have a no f**kwit policy at our cruises....keeps idiots like that away.
  21. Hope you can track down who they are mate. Hitting someones windscreen with a hammer is such a yobo thing to do....wouldnt be suprised if this happened in Western Sydney. If it was planned, they wouldnt scope out your car then come back, theyd just do it straight away then take off.
  22. Lol notsureifsrs Don't know what youve been smoking but I thought it was shit. Car scene in Newcastle = shit. No cops. Plenty of people (bogans) ripping skids on the way out.. Most cars there were just cheaply put together thrashers---CHINESE SPECIAL BRAHHH.
  23. Its funny how ACA wont publicise anything about a "Family vehicle" rear ending/destroying a VL turbo, but if it was the other way around you can imagine the fuss they would of kicked up and the hoon labels that would of been thrown at the VL driver. That VL was immaculate, very unfortunate and feel sorry for the bloke can imagine just how upset hed be.
  24. anyone going to the hardtuned meet tonight?
