Well done My combo was the Apexi TT and viper alarm and worked a treat, locked the car while the TT was running the imobilised the engine once it stoped. a full walkaway system

yeah anywhere outside the towns, it's all sign posted, the roads vary but are not to bad and most wildlife is sleeping during the day as it is too hot to move, so you really have to watchout at dawn and dusk when they out and about.

I am keen for some in a RB20

I drove up there when I moved, but I flew down for this holiday, it took me 4 days to drive up and around $900 in fuel and maintaince costs to do it. The drive is quite boring (thankyou MUD for that I-pod with i-tunes conection) but in NT it's all no speed limits between towns, so was sitting on 170km alot of the way , not good for fuel consumption tho

be good to have a cruise before I leave but not much seems to happen in here anymore

I have another week and a half of holidays , before back upto sh1ty Darwin

Looking at swaping my RB20 for a 25 next year , has anyone done this in Darwin ? as i am thinking of taking it down to Brisbane to have it done if I can't find a garage I trust here.

That's cool just asking as different years mean different parts on some things ie: the air con pump has different size hose recess between 1990-1992, found out the expencive way

If you know what you are doing and you have a decent alarm system (ie:viper) you can set it up so that when you walk away and push the alarm it will lock the doors only then when the turbo timer turns off, the alarm will then imobilise the engine .

I am leaning a lot more on the GTST side now , as I can do a lot of work myself and do bits every now and then. Because at the end of the day I want a unique looking (you will know what I mean if you saw my last R33) well built , strong, reliable and something I can slide around in as well. Have decided I am going to paint it the Light pearl blue from the ford XR6/8 (A lighter version of my R33) I want about 200-225rwkw with a lot of suspention work as I love going down to the track.

Anyone know how Predator went with his RB25 convo ?

I will be working over seas for six months getting some pretty good dollers, but am unsure now of what to do when I get back ? fix up my GTST or buy a GTR? The GTST has a number of mods allready and is running 165 rwkw, the inside outside is near stock , I was planing on dumping a rb25 in power fc , body kit and respray, re-trim inside and a few other little things spending about 10,000 - 12,000. Or sell it as is and buy a GTR and keep it near stock.

Not saying anything bad about importers but you may find that your line does not get here on the day as planed, as above I suggest getting a full service and dyno done to check that everything is in the black and not the red!
