I'll probably change the kit later on but in years to come, the aero kit will be one of those hard to get factory items. It's this reason alone why I got it, that said I agree it looks WAY overboard styling wise. I was in the market for an Audi A5 Coupe, that is a very clean & sexy look but 100k+ is too much for me right now. I'll wait for the super fat wide bodykit for the 86, seen 1 white example & a few renderings & it looked hot! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some like the clean look, some like the JDM tuner look & others like the WAY overboard look (all me)

My 86 is actually in Dark Grey Metallic GTS with Aero pack... looks soooooooo dam sexy. I think alot of people will opt for the orangeish colour, the pictures you see on the net don't give the colour justice. I took the demo for a test drift & the salesman's fingernails are still stuck in the dash If you can drift a fat auto Stagea then you will have a ball with the 86!

Put down my $1k deposit this week & have to waiit till end of September for delivery. I've been driving my Stag as a work car for a while now but she's more of a cruiser, this will be a hell of a lot cheaper on fuel Stag is off the road & will come back with 500+hp upgrade (been buying bits for the last 6 months).

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?

It wasn't that bad till I ran over something on the motorway & a few days later I heard what sounded like a line of tread flying off... I pulled up & saw what you see in the pic. You could actually put your fingers between the tread & case.. very scary. Drove home @ 40 kph & next day bought the new ones -

Eoi - C34 Stagea Roof Rail Replacement Panels
RB BLUEY replied to darrinspencer's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Does anyone have a picture of how the roof is bonded to the chassis? I'm having my Stag re-sprayed in a few months time & the paint shop says it's dinted to hell & may be better to replace entire roof. I would love to find a dual sunroof car & convert mine. 3 quotes I've had so far range from $6600 to $9000 for full job including fitting this kit (supplied by me) http://www.freeway-dolphin.co.jp/aeroform/stagea/nissan_stagea_c34-wh.htm Thanks. -

Relative Maintenance Level Of The Stagea
RB BLUEY replied to tomo88's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I bought (i think) the cheapest C34 in Aus... paid $4500 for it. It's a bit rough on the outside but interior is beautiful black leather in fantastic condition. Suspension was stuffed so I bought these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110603464887 Installed the fronts last week & she handles very nice. Had a few electrical issues but as I'm well knowledgeable in this area it was sorted quick smart. Next month she'll get a full respray & will look fantastic with new 18's (look like new GTR's). I use it mostly for work so I like that it's auto as I drive many K's each week. Everyone loves the look of it, young, old, people with Astons & people with Holdens alike. I have no kids, a good paying job & no debt which leaves me buying lots of stuff for her. I'm really happy with the choice I made but keep in mind they are heavy & economy is good if you baby it but boost is evil & the torque is so nice to play with causing hellish MPG Hope this helps. -

R34 Gtt Splitfire Coilpacks
RB BLUEY replied to GTXR34's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Sorry to add on but I also have a full set of Spitfires I removed out of my Stagea this week. Car was going into limp home mode & thought the coil packs could be factory, I purchased a new set of red ones from ebay only to find Blue Spitfires already installed. I swapped them out for the red ones & still limping home I couldn't be stuffed removing the red ones so the full set of Blue Spitfires are for sale. My engine is a Series 1 RB25DET (not NEO), no external igniter. Thanks. ps, sorry GTXR34, if any problem, I'll move to new thread. -

The Bluebird weighs ~900 KG. It's been a project for the best part of 3 years. Looks a bit different from this photo today

Hi flowed stock turbo, free flowing exhaust, Pod & a dodgy bleed off type boost controller. Last week I was going up the hill near the stadium & the wastegate thought it was a good idea to stay open... the gauge read ~25psi when I knew what was going on, besides the sudden loss of traction from the rear The next few months will see a total upgrade: Link ECU A secret modded Intercooler (will tell what it is after I prove a concept) Garret GT3076R Mandrel bent 3 1/2 inch system w/Varex muffler Bosch 044 & fuel regulator 550CC JECS Injectors This will be tuned for ~300KW I'm using the Stag as a test bench for my '85 Bluebird. Once it's running sweet, the whole donk is to be swapped over (bluebird has RB20DET atm). A long LONG time after that, I've got another RB25DET that will be a crank up rebuild (I have access to a 6 axis CNC machine for billet fun) & I'll be hunting for the 900-1000hp mark Forgot to mention the Stag is my work car

I've been "tuning it" for the last few weeks while driving that stretch

Picked her up on Friday. Leather interior is great. Not a fan of the wheels, looking @ a nice set of Nismo LMX5's.
