Wow this looks fun! Maybe just a few questions: 1. I have a front-wheel drive car, no drifting, but can I still enter just to have a go? 2. Can I drive like a grandma? (A little jaded from going on the track since I got hit a few months ago at Winton by a complete f**king retard) 3. How many cars on the track at a time? 4. "Battery must be secure with a steel bracket and sealed from the cabin" Mine is secure, but I can't remember whether it's steel or plastic (since it is a Mitsubishi!). I can double check, but as it's secure, would I be fine? 5. How long does each group have per session on the track? 6. "Brake, clutch and power steering reservoirs must be covered by an absorbent material." < Any recommendations for absorbent material? 7. What is a "grip session"? I'll probably have more as I think about it. Cheers

Apparently the JDMST meet was shit, everybody started to try and one up each other. Lots of people hit the limiter upon exit and some retard tried drifting and smashed his car. Also it was finished by like 4pm. Bunch of princesses in Melbourne; don't like cold, don't like rain Glad I had work and missed out on this one. Anybody here actually go?

Great, I'll take that as extra motivation for the run! As soon as I get my car back I'm keen to go there, rain, hail, sleet or shine, ready to go any time.

I love the Lyrebird track, part of its charm is the gravel at the beginning then the smoothness of most of the rest of the track which often results in muddy tracks when it rains, it just adds to the fun when you slip and fall on your ass! Love going down the steep parts of it too, hope they keep that the way it is now. Anyone know if they'll be adding steps to the entirety of the track or just parts of it? :S But on the positive side, having an alternative 1000 steps will be great. The 1000 steps usually get way too crowded to have a great run on a nice day, so this will definitely ease the pressure If anybody is still going up there, I'm keen to jump in and go for a run

I don't ever drive to the city, but I take the train every day as I work there. The traffic is also seasonal, during sunny days the traffic will generally flow at a pretty decent pace. But at the slightest sign of rain and even more especially so, during rain showers, the traffic will come to a standstill and all of a sudden EVERYBODY suddenly forgets how to drive and they all forget about the existence of road rules. People are strange. I highly recommend the public transport system over driving through and around the city, it might have its multitude of faults, but at least it's cheap(ish) and always available for you. Although on that note, f**k Metro!

Yup, not many showed up, but a fun time was had by all. Parking was a nightmare (at least for me haha). Movie was great, but I can't seem to stop thinking about the plot holes haha Thanks for organising the event Adam! Look forward to the next one, hopefully at the drive-ins
