Hey guys got a quick question.
Recently put an RB20DET into my S13, did a wire tuck while I was at it and put the battery into the boot.
Now the problem is that when I turn on the ignition, the fuel pump doesn't prime. So what I did was hardwire the YELLOW/BLACK cable from the fuel pumps plug which is the 12v wire, straight to the battery. When I do this, the fuel pump primes but doesn't prime for only a few seconds.. It just keeps going.
With this being done, I went to start the car and it only kicks over but doesn't start. The fuel lines are getting fuel and pressure (I can hear/feel the fuel pushing through the lines into the rail).
What I'm stuck at is that the car isn't getting any spark. Everything is grounded properly and the cluster/stereo etc works, same as the headlights and what not.
The 2 green relays next to the ECU also click when I turn it to ignition.
I am yet to try a different CAS/IGNITOR but could these cause this ? The ignitor is getting power (tested with a multimeter) and so is all the coilpacks but the damn thing just don't turn on!
Sorry for the essay.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts.
