  1. cant you just try to find out? doesnt the heat sheild just sit on top of the exhaust manifold? so even with a bigger turbo if you are still running the standard manifold i would think you should have a trouble... considering the 2535 isnt exactly massive in physical size. i would say it would fit no dramas Just ahve a crack and see what happens Cheers
  2. I am no mechanic so my description may be a little off.. But im pretty sure on the RB20 they are on the side of the block under the intake manifold... as for looks you cant really see much from the out side.... but if i remember correctly they have a orange or red plug.. but theres a good chance i just made that up... hehe.. have a hunt around there anyway. pretty sure you should find them Sorry for lack of help but no one else has said anything so i thought i would give you a start Cheers
  3. hey i had a similar problem i have a HKS timer too. i tried connecting the handbrake wire straight to an earth and it worked... try that. to at least full eliminate that as the problem.. sorry for not being much help. just a suggestion Cheers
  4. thats pretty funny though got a laugh outta me... but yer.. should be disabled to only show the link to the pic like on the old forums :0
  5. agreed... may help for interior lighting and under chassis neon installs uleh. would free up the forums from a bit of clutter
  6. cool. these smilies are a little strange around the edges <-
  7. ahhh. i see strange feature.... I will wait to see others before adding my own hehe. thanks for that lwells.
  8. i agree.. i liked how the old ones worked...
  9. so much better with it on i like it. the new forums are shaping up to better than the old ones already :0 Though i third the delay opinion. it would be a little nicer if it came up after a little while of hovering.. And i second the fact that this is no criticism. and just a friendly suggestion i dont even know whether its possible to do it. hehe. but all in all. i do like the new forums better.. its good to have a change once in a while keep up the good work.
  10. I had this exact same noise a little while ago in my R32 GTST... I did a full brake bleed with new fluid and it got rid of it for a while. But about a month later it came back again... About 3 weeks ago I overhauled all callipers... Got new pads and Motul Dot 5.1 fluid, and havent heard it since. Hoping it wont come back Cheers
  11. Also, what size tire do you run on those? Cos i had 235's on the front of mine for a while and the wheel would scrub on the inside at full lock.. i now have 225's and its ok... but i only have 7inch wide all round... hehe. anyway. thanks for the info
  12. i dont know the current offset of my wheels... Does anyone know the stand wheel width and offset for an R32 GTSt? Cheers
  13. And by the way, what is a blog?
  14. Site seems to be pretty good.. One of the only things i miss though is when you used to hover your mouse over the topic title. it would come up with like the first paragraph or so of that post. I thought that was a great addition and made surfing the forums much quicker Either way. i think once everything is finished it will be better than the old one hehe. *my 2 cents
  15. Hmm. That is probably true.. cos i cant do it either
  16. defiantely seems to sit pretty good... nice. that re-assures me. i was a little scared. cos i wanna get some 9's for the back of my car. but when i had my mates on. they stuck out much further than i would have been happy with. so i was thinking maybe i will have to goto 8's. hehe But that seems good.. i guess his would have been around +38 to +40 on the back.. Cool cool Thanks for that mate. edit: Just looking at those pics. your car actually looks really nice. *though i would take off that little clear strip thing that goes above your window v.nice lookin 4 door though. as im not usually a fan..
  17. notice much difference with the rb25 box? im still running the rb20 box behind the rb25 in my r32 with the price of gearboxes these days i was thinking i will probably just replace it with another rb20 box if this one dies. seems to be going strong though... i figured as long as i dont put some comp slicks or something on the back then it shouldnt be too bad... dunno hows yours?
  18. got any pics of these? i borrowed a mates 17x9's at the rear and they wheel stuck out way too far. i guess this was an offset problem. Would like to have a look at yours Cheers
  19. I have just installed one of these into my R32... Visually. it definately moves "less" (still does move a little (Whole cusco stopper sorta moves with it)) But in the car the difference is minimal... My question is. The adjustment screw in the brace that screws up against the master cylinder, how tight should that be? Must admit im a little dissapointed with the result. Anyone else with better experiences? ideas on anything i may have done wrong? Cheers guys. Thanks
  20. ive clearly stated i will take the seat... awaiting reply.
  21. How much would an oil thermostat setup cost? is it easy to intergrate that into one of these oil coolers that seem to be going round at the moment for the 350 - 400 mark? V.Interested as i am thinking about donig some track work with my car and i think that this would be a good thing to do to add a little reliability to the motor Cheeeeeeers
