What one do I hook it up to the inner conductor or outer shield?
-
Thank you so so much guys!! I will try and do today and if I have any problems I will come running
-
Is it a matter of only hooking up the video wire? Because all the audio would come from the JVC headunit correct? Where is the standard TV tuner located in the rear?? Pics and stuff would help me greatly

Hey guys. Almost finished my M35 daily driven project, straight through 3" to on next week but at the moment i am needed hopefully only one wire to complete the sounds system. So here is the situation, i purchased the JVC DVD player head unit the only single DIN DVD player on the head unit, reason for purchase is that you can run another screen of it, What i am aiming for it to video out from the JVC head unit into the factory pop up one. What i need is to find out how to tap into the factory screen to get it to come up? due to it not being AV in it all hard wired. Everything else is hooked up, TV tuner, subs, speaker amps etc etc. Its only that, i am not after the standard fuel consumption etc to be converted to English i am looking at overriding the standard setting to make it a different screen only used off the headunit. If anyone can let me know that would be fantastic. I am hoping it will be an easy job P.S its the interior and model with the three gauges and the single din headunit. Thanks stagea's

Nah all good man, have to finish my 1000hp track car as of now:)

Hey wagon lovers!! Got a quick couple of questions! Just spend couple grand on me wagon getting her looking nice and running a bit faster! So mods I have done are pod, front mount, 3" dump with no cat on varex muffler control (I know pretty extreme) but sounds intense. Just wondering what boost I should be running through it? Or is standard high enough already! Why power figures should I be looking at pulling feels like around 200awkw? What other good and sensible mods can I do to achieve a little more power, not to crazy as it is daily driven already finished interior with full splits, subs, tv in it and jvc DVD player reverse camera etc.... Open to ideas guys What power should I be making? What boost should I run? (M35 250t)? What other mods can I make? P.s not looking at making it a track weapon either lol
-
Ok so how do I fix it to make it work eg. Get the air out?
-
hahaha i like that!! Also that is a fair but of boost from factory...

Hey guys, Have a few question about the torque gauge in the din pocket? It never seems to do anything? I am wondering if it is not working like when should it come on? when i am doing what and where?? Why such the shit fuel consumption, $100 at the petrol station and only 400km a week. this car is making me need to take out a loan to afford it, haha lucky the government pays for it I understand they are a turbo car and all that, but my 300zx twin turbo 3L has a similar tank size and gets and extra 250km plus on fuel, haha better of using that as a daily... Pitty its a show/track car! Also i have a 2003 M35 i am wondering what standard boost these are running in them from factory? I have not put a boost gauge in to see yet, and unsure what 1bar is? I have put a Front Mount inter-cooler, and also a 3" dump with a straight through 3" exhaust system the whole way, I am wondering if i should boost it up at all to support the mods or leave it fine, still needs a tune with the supporting mods and was going to see if i boost it up at the same time? Anyone else in this experience please let me know what you have done and also this car is used as a daily driver. Regards Matthew

From the middle of the wheel, to the guard its 370mm, seems as low as it can go, the front can go so much lower, and i was just wondering why or how i can get the rear lower, you will see in the picture below that i only wanted to lower it like 10-15mm all around, just to sit it down on the rim a little better.
-
Hey guys bought some coilovers and put them in last night, as the thread says they are BC Coilovers. Now the front will go lower and sit how i want them to but the rear, but the rears, they do not go as a low as i am wanting... I have never really worked with something like that setup before, the strut and then the rear spring. now with the strut i raised that to as high as it can go, (to make it lower) and then the spring i put i all the way down to it lowest point to make it lower, am i doing this correctly? what do i need to do because i am running 18's on it and it still showing around 25mm off the tyre? I do not want to slam it down all the time, but i just wanted to lower it. I am thinking of going to get a new spring made up from Adelaide, or let me know if i am doing something wrong? Just wondering because the fronts can go sooooo much lower, but the rear is still pretty high?? Let me know..

Yeh i do not want to use the standard air box becuase with the pod it spools up so much louder, seems alot less restricted and temps still seem very good. I think i may have worked out the problem, i made my own custom pod adaptor (boilmaker) and i used 75mm piping. but it was 80mm long, like went like 80mm inside in the pod, so i think it was restricting the air flow in, so by cutting it back to like 30mm it will allow the WHOLE to do it job, rather than just the top and sort of forcing the induction through the AFM?? Its a dual POD like the top and also the side, its a decent one...
-
Also it's a standard boost m35 2003 model no mods done at all apart from pod and it doesn't like it lol
-
Just put the air box back on and it revs right out like normal , the AFM on a Stagea doest like a pod right there?? I might try running a 45 degree end see how it goes then?
-
Hey guys Well having dramas again with unsure weather its the AFM meter again or not? I had no pod on the AFM meter before and killed the AFM (totally my fault) an now I have a pod adapot and a pod filter on it, you go to plant your foot down and I hit around 5000rpm and it's like the brakes ate being slammed on, pulls right back at me? Any idea what this is caused by? I am goin to put the standard air box back on but my other recent turbo cars I have done this and never had any issue with it? Also I blocked the bov of to make it flutter also any problems with doing this or anything? Let me know guys? Regards Matthew

All fixed excellent job, thanks guys!

I am after coilovers for the wags and was needed help, only had the M35 for 2 weeks now, fresh import from Japan first owner in Aus. I am looking at putting some coilovers in there, and lowering it to put some rims on obviously, But only being new to this i had a look at the rear suspension setup and was very confused, very similar to the commodore set up. (pictures below) I was asking if anyone has some second hand coilover they would like to sell that would suit this, but i also know justjap.com have some to suit, but unsure of what ones i am in need of? Anyone could help be much appreciated Regards Matthew

Hey guys, I was on the highway a week ago, and the AFM went, of course the engine light came on, but yesterday i changed the AFM revs out properly and everything else. But the engine light is still on? Any ideas?? Regards Matthew
