  1. Six Sard/Denso 850cc side feed fuel injectors Set of six Sard/Denso 850cc side feed fuel injectors. Direct replacement for stock injectors in RB (except 26 and NEO I think) and SR powered cars also a lot of rotaries and GC Subarus too I think. Taken out of an R33 GTST in good working condition, I stole some of the o-rings off them though and they could probably do with a professional clean which usually gets you new o-rings included. They work great with E85 and PowerFC so they are a great choice for someone going with mostly bolt-on mods. I ran them in my car with around 300rwkw with upgraded in-tank pump and hi-flow turbo etc. $230 located North side of Brisbane. Brett - o4o2 232 556

  4. Anything can be defected, it's up to you to either prove it's not in court or fix it and clear the defect after the fact. I bet since it is a Skyline there are other things that they would notice and issue a defect for first and then not even notice that it doesn't have a fan shroud.
  5. It's a simple formula: clean and clear radiator (stock or aftermarket), good condition water pump, correct thermostat, properly bled correct coolant in the system. To find the problem start with the cheapest and easiest item above, check and or replace said item. If that fixes the problem good. If it doesn't fix it then go to the next item. Repeat until the problem is resolved...
  6. My advice when getting a thermostat is to get one that doesn't use a rubber seal around the valve. I think the genuine Nissan ones do and I had one in my car. When I changed it I found that the rubber seal around the valve was dislodged and holding the valve partially open all the time. The result was the car running 15 degrees cooler than normal operating temp. It was like having a Nismo thermostat which is not ideal for most road cars. Go to Super Cheap or Repco and take the old one to make sure they measure the dimensions and temp rating and pick a new one without any rubber parts on it. I think I ended up with a Tridon or similar after market one that is all metal construction.
  7. Boom! Straight forward answer, done and dusted. I agree completely, I've been using a 30 micron with E85 for years. I just got one with 5/16 barbs and it dropped right in and replaced the stock one.

  9. Might be time to drop some dollars on a diagnosis by a good mechanic.
  10. Just dive in man and get those cam covers off and see what's going on. Make sure everything looks normal and put a ratchet on the balancer bolt and turn the motor clockwise by hand and check everything turns as it should. If there is nothing obviously wrong it should only take an hour and a bit all up including putting it all back together.
  11. My Comp test was a-okay too. But if it was intermittent then it won't be a broken cam like mine was.
  12. I have just been through this with my car in December, I checked and replaced everything possible and it all looked good but cylinder 6 would not fire. I got to the point of just diving in and started pulling everything apart. Got the rocker covers off and found the exhaust cam had broken right above the middle of cylinder 5 and the so the second lobe for cylinder 5 and the two lobes for cylinder 6 were not turning any more. The piece of cam that was not turning any more just happened to stop in a position with the last three exhaust valves closed so compression tests and everything were showing normal results. Lucky! BTW the cause was the threads on the last cam bearing cap pulling out and allowing the end of the cam to wobble and eventually stress the cam shaft at the next bearing cap and that is where it sheared off. I had the cam bearing cap bolt threads heli-coiled and replaced the cam now everything is good as new.
  13. It was a good laps session indeed. Pity we had to do the Clubman circuit and not the National. I really like the turn two and back straight combo to get a good head of steam going. I did get a little excited at one point and go for it forgetting that it was the Clubman layout, had to drive around turn three on my own like a potato. Did anyone else double-up on Saturday and do the Roll Racing at night as well? I raced a few Skylines but not sure if it was anyone from here. I saw Noel but didn't recognise anyone else. Would have loved to race Noel's car just for shits and giggles.
