  1. If someone could pls help ASAP, have to get the car ready by this weekend. thanks
  2. Hi All, installed the camshaft in my rb30 and was in the process of installing the rockers and rocker plate. Cylinder 4,5,6 was all smooth and the plate sat flat for the rocker to bolt in, but with cylinder 1,2,3 the rocker plate doesn't sit flat ?? wngine is at TDC piston 1 and 6 are at the highest point. Do I just start to bolt the plate down apply pressure until it sits flat or do I have to rotate the crankshaft until the rocker plate sits flat? any help would be appreciated. thanks
  3. You can leave the stock comp and put it on e85 and run higher boost?
  4. I did, and the bloke (Rick) said he never heard of a spec saying lift duration of inlet and exhaust @0.50
  5. Back to topic, anyone know the duration of the kelford cam @0.50 inlet and exhaust? Thanks
  6. So you are saying the specs are very similar to a tx2?
  7. Yes, I need to know the specs compared to Tx2 👍
  8. Hi All, interested in purchasing the crow cams below but out of stock. Have found a kelford cam but want to know how the kelford cam compares to TX2 or TXM. Kelford cam specs are: cam 274 or 226-F i need to know the duration at 0.50 of inlet and exhaust like crow cams, kelford cam only has valve lift duration at 1mm. could someone please work it out so I can have the specs like the crow cams. Need to to duration at 0.50 of intake and exhaust. TIA
  9. Bought some copper spray today. I also believe it's good to add copper spray for extra safety.
  10. No, single cam. Thanks kindly. I just put the tensioner back on and there is a little spring, so I just put that back in the grove and put the bolt back on? Crank and cam gear seal seem the same ?👍
  11. Could someone please confirm what these two rubber seals are? Bought a timing belt and these two seals and lubricant came with it. Thanks
  12. Meaning? My tuner prefers Nitto hence the change.
  13. Update, changing paths and now going with Nitto 1.1mm with (fire rings) head gasket as opposed to mls cometic 1.29mm gasket. apparently nitto seals better and have stronger fire rings. cometic is good but would require copper spray and wet stone/knife sharpening the block as cometic are very sensitive and my leak compression if not done properly. 👍
  14. Have searched with not much luck. Will be running haltech. im leaning towards 1.89mm / 0.75 thou but wanted to know what everyone else normally does?
  15. Hi All, Have a VL NA converted to Turbo, after a thicker head gasket, looking into MLS cometic. They come in 1.29mm. 1.89mm and above 2.0mm thickness. Planning to run hi boost (20psi) any advice would be great. 2.5mm thickness would drop it to nearly 8:4:1 or something like that? Seems like 1.29mm is default choice for rebuilds? Leaning towards 1.89mm thickness. What thickness do people mostly use? Will keep it on 98 octane for now but will eventually go on E85 TIA.
  16. Hi all, in the process of putting the afm in the intercooler piping 2.5 inch, could someone please let me know how they have connected the afm in the piping? Did you use some kind of an adaptor? If yes, what is it called and where can I get it from ? TIA. red Vl is a sample of how I would like to setup my AFM. Thanks
  17. Could someone please confirm this is where it-piece for coolant return? Also, if you could confirm the size would be great🙏
  18. Does someone have a pic if the coolant heater hose pls? Need to t piece for turbo return. Thanks
  19. Where the water feed is there is another bolt below that, can water feed connect to either? I'm unsure of water return, would that connect to heater hose? If yes does anyone have a pic? Cheers
  20. Donut doesn't matter if I put the coolant feed into the top or bottom connection into the block?
  21. Which is water in and out please?
  22. Could someone please confirm with me with pics? Would be greatly appreciated👍🙏
