  1. Hi guys Im selling my R33 GTR. I have had the car since the beginning of the year, and im the only owner in Australia. the car is 10/95 model, purple, twin airbags all the usual power options, low kms, mongoose alarm. it is in excellent condition inside and out and I have had no problems with it. It is in totally unmodified condition. the price is $37500 ONO if interested PM me or call/msg on 0413-390-816
  2. I think you should give it anwhere between 6 and 7G and dump the clutch
  3. Before you go criticising, considering the gts25, the r33 is the best one. the extra weight is due to larger motor, brakes, etc, wider wheel base, better gbox. All in all, better and faster. The r34 gtt has more power and torque, but is once again faster, and is slower than the r33. All in all, the r33 gts-t is the best. In terms of gtr, have you noticed that the difference in weight comes with an increase in power and torque? The difference in speed that we are talking is minimal. Just .1 or .2 on the 1/4. how consistent are you anyway? less than .1 difference every time? you'd hardly notice it. The r32 is a POS with that gay slow attessa, unless you get the v spec. I had one and i don't like it. I much rather the r33 gtr. much better driving as well as looks I agree with most of the things you have said except that a Gtt is slower than an r33 gtst. I have owned 2 R33 GTst's (now have a 33 GTR) and my brother has a gtt, and stock for stock the gtt is definately quicker than a 33 gtst, as well as providing better traction
  4. how can you be sure that all 33 GTR have rear wipers?? mine doesnt and its not an accident repaired car? ide say it was probably a factory option
  5. My R33 GTR doesnt have a rear wiper, and neither does my GFs brothers
  6. I had a lot of trouble with a turbosmart bleed valve in my series 2 33 (spiking, overboosting etc), so I took it out and put in an ebc. definately worth the money.
  7. does this exhaust also fit a GTR?
  8. I got my R33 GTR about 3 months ago and my brother has an R34 GTT. Both cars are completely stock. The GTR is substantially quicker, and personally I love having the traction! (having come from a GTST) the fuel economy is a little worse than the R34, although not huge difference. Normal driving (with a few squirts) and I get 14-14.5/100km and the gtt gets about 12. atleast your not choosing a gen 3. my friends ute does about 17L/100KM. sometimes well over 20!!
  9. I would gladly put my stock R33 GTR up against a stock Sti. A freind who lives up the road has a 99 model sti with an exhaust and we have put the cars up against each other on several occasions and the GTR was faster in a straight line than the sti. It would open up about 2-3 carlengths midway through 3rd. I used to have an R33 GTST before. I raced many standard looking rexes. Generally it would be close with the GTSt coming out on top if the race went long enough.
  10. could you please post a pic of the rims. thanks

  12. 1)I suspect probably a 25-30% loss through the drive train, so 200RWKW is somewhere like 250-260KW at the flywheel. 2) 4.5 sec 0-100 and maybe 12.6-8 with a good clutch.

  14. thats a bloody good time on standard turbo's! well done!! im saving up at the moment for an exhaust and PFC for my GTR, cant wait!!

  16. yeah i know 4 months is long but this car is a test car so it probably will take this long so it would be better if i could buy one rather than lend, as i agree 4 months is too long. Thanks anyway
  17. Are you willing to sell it ill give you $80 for it. Alternatively ill need to borrow it for about 4 months, for a small charge. Just let me know thanks.

  23. I smacked one of those big gutters in St Kilda when I had my GTST. I hit it pretty hard, although didnt buckle my wheel. I bend the lower control arm. It cost me $200 to get it fixed. so maybe it wont be too much if your lucky.
