ok just my 2cent i owned more skyline-wrx-200sx than i care to count, but in the end i still drive a r33 gts abeilt heavily modify one,and last xmas i bought my g/f a 2003 wrx for shopping duty. it has exhaust, but it aint no beast, but i have to say the wrx is a more steerable car if you're an average driver, and it does give u the impression, that's it's going faster than it actually is, But the skyline is still my weapon of choice. WRX drivers crap their pants when they here an external wastegated rb26.

Yes as the title said, come clean with the amount of time u been suspended reason? and duration. I'll go first suspended 2 time once when i was 18, 1 day before i got my open i decide to go for a run cause i had 4 points to burn, came back with a speeding fine and a undue noise. second time, was just plain old accumulations of traffic fines mainly in victoria. Damn mexicans. Funny thing is that when i'm just cruising around, I get booked and when i'm seriouly into the gas, never been book apart from the incident above. I went for a track day organised by a major manufacturer on wednesday and got to drive some pretty groovy machinery, and then got served continental lunch, and was given a gift before i left for home, and didn't cost a cent. So unless your dealing i'm not coming. on a lighter note $180 isn't alot, for a dayful of fun with a bunch of decent ppls or u can go and sit at the local plaza and stare at the dredge of the society for nothing.

I'm supprise no one mention that a rb25 block have to be line bore to accomodate a rb26 crank.

The one thing ppls never mention is the general engine nore after gutting a cat. especially on a rb25 with a 3 1/2" exhaust is the sound of the exhaust note. it is much angrier and clearer, althought ppls say it doesn't produce any additional power maybe true, but u want to produce the power as quick as u can not sometime this year.

Unless your chasing massive HP then don't unless your cylinder wall are stuff. Generally sleeving gives more strenght when quality sleeves are used and fitted by a competant machine shop"rare" There are quite a few big hp rb26 running around with sleeve, but most of them aren't into discussing about what they've done. Talk to a machine good shop and see their view.

Should ask him how much hp would he be comfortable with? and then see. a good completed rb25 is slots straigh in is gonna be lots cheaper, than a bolt on rb26 head onto a rb30 bottom and then u still got the unknown factor of the old rb30 bottom end holding together with the new re-power.

yes rb25 does have the same problem, but it doesn't get exacerbate by the existent of a 4wd system as is on the gtr. a gtst would swap ends, if u pushed it hard enuff, it only becomes a problem when you run semi slick,

I'm almost sure it valve stem seal, They have a tendency to buil up oil at idles and when u take of a white plumes of smoke is evident for a few seconds and disappear.
