on an r33 with a huge turbo, this is a good way of dissipating heat soak. As for having weird effect on aero, i'm not really sure, i always thought and have been told by knowledgeable ppls that at the base of your windcreens is the lowes presuure zone on most car with a steeply raked screen it would creat a vacumn effect. But i could be wrong.

Yes they do plugs straight in no changes what so ever. and the bell housing are exactly the same, but u need to get some rb30 box support and mods them to fit as the rb26 lacks the bottom bolts of the rb25.

Ok to lay things to rest i had the exact turbo on my car a couple of years back(rb25 with front facing T/B), i ran it with a 0.63 ex.housing initially and founded that it was choking at top end , so i went to th 0.82 housing and the problem went away, i was running a turbonetic 42mm wastegate at the time also. the on boost different between the 2 housing is only 300 rpm and the 0.63 housing is more instant than the 0.82 but the 0.82 was a much better drive as it was more well natured and very-very thrusty when on song. Also not sure if this will mean anything, the .082 is over twice as loud as the 0.63 housing. Just food for thought.

I can say from a hands on experience that rb26 and rb25 rods are world apart. they have different shape beam the egdes are different also thicker and the most important of all is that the rb26 rod carry a masive bearing end as comparo to an rb25. As for power capacity is all depends on how well u tuned it. But big numbers have been recorded.

Nissan is dead in the water as far as sport car is concern, they'll be building purpose dioesel mpv and suv on mass for the euros market, as nissan has a large and very techninical diesel outpost. We might be spare with the GTR badge being brandied around on some one of $150k+ version of a sportcar, and it wont be coming here. Do the maths and it just doesn't add up for australia as far as nissan is concern.

some of them bolt are never meant to be undone, i've broken that many bars and spanners, now i just syphon the oil out of the box and fill it up throught the selector.
