Ok i for unknown reason have owned both r32-33 gtr and now drive a rb26det r33gtst, To simply sum it up, the GTR is a fearsomely track car and quiet quick in a straight. but unreliable due to machanical reasons with extra grip for virtually the same box as the gts. where as the gtst is a good cruiser and can be a deceptively fast street car in a straight line. but u will need the help of semi slick for road uses if 300+rwkw i'm not going to quote how many rwkw i'm running but with 300+rwkw u are frying the tyres at 120+k/hr but that disapear to a certain point with semi slick, as for gtst doing track day, a gtr has it plates full if a gtst driver rolls up with semi slick. Also it hell more expensive to modify a gtr than a gtst.

This is another one to the list, if u have a fone with a camera on and u got a fixed dash mount position, leave the camera on , as when the laser hit the fone screen will go "white out" as a overload feature. and the u want to have reflex like a cat. and jump on the brakes. As for all the ppls who carries on don't speed and u wont get caught, get a grip of yourself, speed doesn't kill, greedy government do.

OHH i saw somewhere else that brutis got stolen and partially stripped. Pretty bad, hope u get that lil thing back on the rd, it was a funny lil car. and also let me know if u find out who did it.

blitz dual sbc is the best. period.

Also to the point, u might need abit more than 600hp to run reliable 10 sec, but if your tuner is REALLY good then u can push a fair bit further with stock interals. but how far i'm not gonna guess. To run a RWD into the 10s on street tyres requires lots of driver skill and awesome suspension set up. hope that help.

i got one 2 weeks ago on my way home to sunshine coast he was on the otherside of the freeway and i didn't took much notice of him 111 in 100kay zone. Amen that the car i was in is reg. under my company. 3 weeks before i get 7 points back.

Didn't know that pistons wore out, my understanding is the rings that wear out, think about it! So rings are just as important if not so more, and yes, the higher the silicon content in the metal composition of a piston, means it will require more clearance, if nec, just warm it up nicely. If they were a prob. big dollars exotics would not use them instead of hypo pistons.

mild hpc copated steel piping delivers the best sounding exhaust note, even better with an external w/g. stainless steel gives a slight drony-tinny noise and titaniun is only a louder version of s/s

who cares if u win or lose, it an experience that everyones goes through.Some are fun and some are just plain woeful. but yes, learn how to drive it first expecially launch techs. go out west somewhere with fresh tyres and new clutch and u come back knowing exactly where the r33 is strongest. U can actually beat faster cars if u know how to pedal it.

ahh pity the ppls in vic are really outgoing and vic has a good lifescene. pity about the crabby gotv. there. i used to holiday twice a year in melb"driving" i no longer go there since i got done for 53 in a 50 zone in a minibus. now i head to north qlds where the police are still decent and not road nazi like some other places. a BTW i have been warn by police for doing 120+ and no ticket in FNQ!!

ohwell when the 35gtr comes here , i'll most probably buy one , forthe sake of geting one or i'll be bagged out by friends, who care if it looks like, couldn't be worst than the r34. i loath that car

umm i always thought it was until the point that they can't read ur number plates at speed. and then u have to choose to stop or jump on it.

haha about time ppls goton about bikes, we've ran lots of bikes in the past. my line comfortabably beats a stock r1 standing start , but last i raced a hayabusa, they have got serious stick from 150 onward and no, a 10 sec car would not beat a hayabusa rolling, the best way to run bikes is from standing start and use scare tactics(cheating). Also an r1 or any 1000cc onward jap bike with some minor mods are out of reach to street reg cars, but then it would take a VERY good rider and balls of steel to sit a couple of cars infront of a line at warp speed.

No, the skyline eats the RS6 Erin by a huge margin, as for getting another car, my garage is bit crowded and friends are getting impatient with my cars all over there yard.and the skyline would be cheaper to "write off" than one of the other one, prolly use the X5 if i can't get a tow bar made.

Yes, i have recently realise, that i'm spending less and less time in my skyline and instead of pulling it apart and selling it as bits i've now have decided to farm it out to towing my jetskis as a gesture of retiring for the old girl. well i've sorted of detune her a little bit so economies can be realise and when the semi slicks runs out, normal road tyres will be refitted. After 7 years of ownership i've have come to a point where a car is and can be TOO fast for normal road use, but it have always brought a grin to my face everytime the pedal hit the floor. BTW anyone can recommend or knows where i can get a tow bar for an r33 as i've rang around and no ones makes them.

I flash oncoming traffic before they reach speed camera all the times , sometimes with police looking at me from the otherside. I loath them. if u get ping on th way to work it means u have to work half of the week without getting paid, and it's worst if u got kids, so i'm doing my bit to help the general public.

LOL. Welldone, atleast u got his attention. Nothing will happen as the officer involved, would have to file a formal charge which i can't see how he could as under what interpretation would he do it under and a magistrate would kick it out of court faster than the can say his name, and the possibilities of defending it is endless as u could have truely given the finger at that point but was it at the camera or the bicycle rider on the otherside of the camera, which is out of view.

I have had a few dealings with CES , yes there work is second to none, some say it pricey, but comparing the works around the place, i'm more than happy to part with the lil extra cost, and yes, I go the mild steel exhaust as they sound SEXIER especially on a gtst than a tinny stainless.

don't bother making a insurance claims if u got one. It's on the same level as NOS on a street car in the eyes of insurers

i used to drive holday in victoria a few times a year ever since the 3 kays shit i got booked twice in the same day and i was on the plane by the afternoon and never return there. why would u go to a place where your supposedly there to enjoy yourself , and you're being probe and prode in an effort to raise revenues which in the ends has other ramification. i think victoria suck. the govt. not the ppls, and would never go there for holiday period!!! going to vanuatu or the pacific islands are cheaper.
