hello erin, don't get secondhand compressor as the seals in them been exposed to air would be rooted. it might work for a few wekks , but that's about it. be cheaper to go full aftermarket one from nipondenso for around $700 and it's guaranteed. also u sure it's ur compressor as skylines are at that ages where the condenser will poop themselves as mine did out of the blue and u will need to get custom one about $800 so either way ur going to be lighten to the tune of aroung 700-800. but if u really wanted to fenn from here has one at his house.

u will need to modify and splice the 2 looms together. as for the rb25 keep it aside , as u will need bit and pieces of it to make your rb26 works. also the power steering pumps need to be modify as the rb26 is a dual lines unit and a rb25 is a single feed item, hopes that help abit. but do it, it brings smiles on your faces every drive.

does anyone here knows wgat actually causes this problem on the power fc as my engine on the stock computer runs perfectly and when i plug the power fc in and it lights up engine check light. any comment be much appreciated.

don't get kevlar, they're no good for the streets , u find that you will get alot of nose to tail near misses as they warm up.

u ppls should not swap and change over different brand of oils wether synthetic or not. all oils are constructed different and behaves differently. all race car uses heavier oils for added protection but slightly less power , but power is ur game then go for the lighter oil. one thing is that mobil is a better lubricant than shell ultra , but shell ultra is more durable as in decay rate after 5000k the mobil might be dead where as the shell product might go on another 10-15000kays, so it different horses for different courses. a s a fact all the new BMW-AUDIS-FERRARIS-LAMBOGHINIS-VW-PORSCHES uses shell ultra only as a factory selected lubricant, and they also have extended their services out to 15-20000kays

to do a t78-88 is gonna cost u in the vicinity of $10k+ depend how u go about it, and ppls say lag monster? well have any of these ppl driven a car equipe with one, mine spools up at 3500 and u nearly black out at 5000rpm. every turbo enthusiast have to own or drive one of these before they die, it's an can be addictive.

when i rebuild my motor one of the area that i invested alot of time was oil presure problem associated with rb motor, more rb dies due to spun bottom end bearing than aany other form of death. what i did was welded 2 surge plates with 10mm holes drilled into them and inline with my oil cooler is a 5 litre oil reservoir where oil is stored and cools off before re-entering the motor. as under hi rev 5000+ u will find the sump ia basically empty and ll the oil is sitting up in the rocker covers, this is a fact!!

u cane the crap out of it if it's a A3 1.8 turbo, audi feels very torqey, but dreadfully slow against the clock, but if it's a S3 be prepared to get cane. as with audis ther are many obstacles to clear in regards to modifications , it's not just as simples as bump the boost and hope to hell, the management on them are very smart and will pull back power if it sense more than regualted power is being deliver, did u know that on a hot day it bumps the boost up and reduces it on a cold day to keep power constant.

u also need to have the RWC form hanging alongside the asking price.
