If my memory serves me right, from what i saw in the state on my last visit, is that the quality control officers inspects the cars at 30 feet distance!!!!! well almost from that distance anyway.
sound like they're aren't exactly doing a rebuild, more of a case fitting a new cartridge with the appropiate wheels, and machining that to fit ur housing, and at those price seem a bit high to me. so basically ur buying a new cartridge and machining for over 2k? not very cheap.
this affect all piston type bov, and they have to be maintain, which lot of ppls don't. used a good degreaser first then spray wd40 on the brass piston and refit.
i was running 18psi on an aftermarket turbo with an apexi speed cut also i had a variable(homemade)afm signal adjuster which also double as cold start injectors emulator. don't think u can buy one of these, but it was good for 18psi on a gt28 with external wastegate, so yes it can be done, but u need lots of patience.
i've been looking a maccas at calamvale, it next to the calamvale hotel there reasonably lit on both side and ur halfway between bris and coast , no one elses uses it and it surrounded by VERY decent rd. pineland to the north to the east u got beaudeset rd that is runs both north and south and to the east u got compton rd and the freeway is 5 mins away. this is just my observation.
i'm running djo1 atm seem very grippy in the dry, but wet grip is better than most street tyres in light rain, but if it poolings , then it's a different ball game.
i'm using a blitz dualsbc for a few years now, at fiirst no one really knew how to set these now after trial and errors and tunning and details from net. once it is set up properly it is a devastatingly accurate and powerful controller. nothing else i've used comes close. it has digital boost reading so u can get rid of the 50mm guages and , it has a max boost memory and a few other nice function.
i have a perfect solution for lowered skyline that have the inherited - cambers problems. just buy some good semi slicks , they are meant to be run on -3 to -5 cambers.
yep it's dead easy to baffle ur sum. also there are may other way to do it with filler elements, but yes, ppls say they haven't blown anything up, next time they hear a knock from deep inside, u know that the big end bearings.
