Bugatti Veyron Dethroned Already?
hungry6 replied to Big Rizza's topic in General Automotive Discussion
To draw comparison between the 2 cars ould be like comparing a plasma TV gainst a rear projection TV, both are big and delivers visual image but you know which one is refine and definatively better. -
I think it's more of the case worn old rings versus new found compression = excessive blow by = oil consumption. Just my view, but I'm not a mechanic. So PLEASE donot quote me on this.

hungry6 replied to JL's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
If they are 9" or wider they are mine, so back of I got a gun. haha -
ERrr, if they're killin asian, then I better go hide. But I cannot see that happening, any form of riot on the goldy. The year is 2005 not 1980s and Pauline Hanson has bee run out of town. you probably find that, they be more incline to bashed the young drunken louts than any race group.

I stacks shelves at woolies, and it makes ends meets, sometime.. -
LOL, being on the wrong side of the fence and have lived in Syd. and Melb. It's aint gonna hapen here (Ihope not), as most of the Islamic and lebanese who lives here in Qld, move here to get away from all that cr*p , that is goin on down there. All I can say is that, what is happening down there, didn't happen overnight and the Police knew of the problems around the Rocks/Cronulla/Bondi for along-long time ago, and refuses to act on the level of street gangs. Now, it has exploded in their faces, I'm not cop bashing, what I'm saying is that, the ppls at the top should be sack and replaces with ppls who knows what they're doing and prioritises certain elements and not tow the political line of $$$$$$$ making scheme. The sad thing is that, street level police are getting pushed into enviroment created by village idiots and innocent Australians are getting hurt and their view of the ethnics group as a whole will change forever. It's a sad sad day for Australia. Sort of reminds me about a history lesson I learnt long-long ago, it's called "Eureka Stockade"

Not trying to be rude or arogant, I've seen plenty of left hooker on the rd, Beside the facts, what is a $275 fine to someone who drive a $2m AUD plus car. The beauty of these cars, that they don't attract the normal 20% luxury car tax bullsh*t.
-
Either, the big MAC or the BUG will do me fine, for some reason, I doubt that any will be driven on the street in oz. The 2 that are coming here are destin for collections.

The whole thing was pretty good for the size of the cruise. Just 2 things we might have to implement for the next one. ** workshops that brings car to advertise there ware should contribute a sizable donation and in return, get to set up table and hand out promotional brochures at designated points. ** ppls need to wear a tag of their nick, as I got tire, after the 100 time I asked ppls what their nick is after talking to them for 5 mins. just a thought.

I left at 2.30 and got some light drizzle, but there was some nasty stuff looming around as I hit the Ipswich motorway

Any Lawyers Or Law Students In Here?
hungry6 replied to AzzurrA's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Ok, I just saw this and I rehashed your letter, It's up to you if you wants to use it, Just a little head up, that's all, hope it's help. Wayne. Business name Address. ----------------------- Att/ Manger (Name would be better) Re: Defective goods and poor workmanship. Car rego: XXX YYY In regards to the above car mentioned. I " (name)" as the registered owner and the "client" in this matter. Have severals issues which I believe, and needs to be address urgently. These matters have been raised by myself to your company representatives on numerous occassion, which have led to inaction by your firm. These are some of the numerous faults/failures of goods and fitments. * Failed hicas lock bar. * Failed spring ratings * Poor "DANGEROUS" workmanship. These items are some of manies problems that has surface since acquiring my car on the 26-07-05 After recieving supply and fitments works of suspension set up. Prior to contracting your firm for the said works, I was verbally led to believe, that your supplied goods was "superior" than items which I have nominated. Also, the works"fitment" was also supposedly to be of high quality. Which since has prove to be "dangerous" and very poor. Due to the facts as stated above I have since incurred cost as stated below. Also I'm unable to have normal use of my car on a daily basis, as it form my only form of transportation to and from work. *Towing cost $99.20 * wheel alignment $99.00 Also, I believe that a reimbursement refund of monies for failed components and labour to fit those components, is reasonable and fair. * Hicas lock bar $210.00"broke" * Labour $100.00 Which bring the amount of the claims to $508.20 for refund-rectification works that was cause by supply of poor quality goods and works, by your firm. I hope that you make a fair judgement in regards to the above issues and refund the monies outstanding to avoid further actions. Thanks Azzurra (date) -
Ok going by my limitted experience, on the same motor same tune same fuel, even same dyno driver, haha. before port/polish/combustion chamber modification to promote a more efficient-complete burn of fuel mixture. Before head works approx max power 570 rwhp with full boost by 4650rpm (5.9 sec) to develop full power After head works, almost broke 600hp max power with full boost by around 3700rpm and (4.2 sec) to develop full power. So the gains with head works wasn't just in outright power, but in the time it took to develop full power. Which a good racehead porter would look for and the additional power is just a by product. Please understand, this is just going by my experience and may vary from other ppls results.

If anyone can recall an interview with C. Goshn about 2 years ago regarding the GTR. I remember that he replied to the tune" We wont release the GTR until we can deliver a car that will has the same impact to the motoring world as the original R32 GTR" And to me by going V6 or V8 turbos with awd is pretty much has run it course. I think Nissan would wants to be the first in the world with a true performance Hybrid, that would rewrites the motorsport history books.
-
My guess would be twin turbo 3.8l V6TT hybrid. with a combine power output of 350-360kw, main drive is to rear with helper electric front.
-
And how did you go Erin? Anyway I saw a nice r32 on Coro drive and I was think" nice r32 " until he cut me off. Tool! I should have driven over his bonnet with my new 4x4. haha.
-
Woah, you're almost as skilful as I am, well atleast your ok, cars can be fix-crash and burnt, you'll be back on the road faster than you think. Lok on the bright side, if it was writen off, you get o choose a new colour if you didn't like the white.
-
were u in that 4door gtt?
-
Should be able to make this year one.

You can buy the same heat shield in the xr6T and then cut and place it in the right places, If you are having those sort of heat issues, then you might already melted of your abs wiring and stuffed up your front right shock, Also get a heat blanket and contoured it to your front shock tower, so the rest of the wiring wont be melt also. Also another way to get heat out of the engine bay is to rip of that rubber trim just below the windscreen and maybe lift your bonnet up a little/ drift style.

Showed my brother this thread, and we both said go for the R1 05 model. The hondas are a good bike and more so comfortable and easier to ride fast, the R1 is bit trickier but has larger potential, if you can master it, but if budget isn't a problem, the a 05 1000 EGO MV Augusta, prolly set you back about $40k if you can get one only 20 are comming into the country. But on genrealisation, jap bikes are fast/fun wheelie bike and Euro bike are fast track bike but you have to be an ape to ride them. and Ducs. are a joke, and ppls who rides ducs are regards as whingers in the real world. Forgot to mention, we both are long time riders and has multiples bikes and my brother race the OZ SSB series.
