  1. What made the airbox for it? Good luck selling it, always liked these older Supras
  2. I prefer the hatch as I think it looks better plus it offers more versatility as it could take more of a load in the rear if the seats were folded down. Are there any Pulsar forums which are not for the GTi-R?
  3. What is Nissans reputation like for automatic gearboxes? I would prefer an auto but open to manual
  4. Any particular reason you think so highly of the Pulsar?
  5. Hi guys, Does anyone have any experience with the N16 Pulsar Q 1.8L hatchback? I am considering one as a daily driver and wondering if they have any problematic areas, how they drive, their fuel consumption, comfort etc. In this class other viable options are the 01+ Corolla and 01+ Civic, both 5 door hatchbacks. I would likely prefer these 2, however the Nissan seems to be the cheapest as a second hand buy. Help is appreciated For reference:
  6. Why so Mang?
  7. Not the case Mang
  8. Thanks again for your help I was initially a little bit put off because I thought a $1m house would incur roughly $10,000 per year in rates, which sounds preposterous to pay this much to live in your own house.
  9. And are there any other costs? ie, Land tax, or is this the same as the rates?
  10. Thanks guys, The money will come from a sale of other property situated outside of Australia. Would that make a difference at all in stamp duty etc?
  11. Hi guys, Can someone tell me what property taxes are like in Canberra? And what this includes (land rates etc?) More specifically for a house roughly $800-$1.2M worth, with no mortgage, primary place of residence. Also property taxes on property which is rented out (other than income tax). Help is appreciated
  12. Well I will need to go over the pits regardless and get an engineers certificate as they no longer accept my NSW one. I was mostly curious as to whether I need to return every 1 or 2 years for a check up Thank for the help guys
  13. When my car got defected, the cop ticked that I can take it to any inspection station as it was a minor defect. So I went to an inspection station in Fyshwick and the guy started looking over the car etc, then eventually looked under a hood and realized the car had an engine conversion, at which stage he gave me the papers back and said it has to go to Dickson because a car with an engine conversion is classed as "modified" and HAS to go through Dickson each and every time.
  14. What about if your car is classed as modified? ie, where if defected it has to go over the pits and a normal inspection station is not good enough?
  15. Hi guys, I know if you buy a car which is older than 6 years, or you register a car from interstate, or your registration has been expired for more than a year you need a roadworthy. But, is there any other time? Sort of like how UK has the MOT system where cars older than X amount of years need to get checked every 2 years
