Top weekend that has to be the most fun I have had in any car. The fun started on the drive up with Adzmax and Chrisman then joined by Ash. To the late night drinking with Troy and Ash. Damn those red bull and vodkas just wont let you sleep. The skid pan was awsome, started off shaky but after an initial crap run I was gettin in to it. Too bad I missed out on the Saturday night drinking(there is always next time) but it was a warm drive home anyways. Big thanks to the organizers officials and helpers for making it all possible. Hope to see you all at another skidpan dan sometime cheers

This is probably going to sound dumb to the experienced guys but for any newbies that are coming along is there any extra gear that we should bring along? e.g. oil, extra coolant and such.

Like the title says I have a rattle in the steering, it seems that the steering lock has broken so I am just wondering will the loose pieces be in the steering wheel or in the coloumn surround?

Yep stock exhaust and airbox the its only had suspention mods so far. Even I was a bit hmmmm about it, I was expecting it to be alot lower. Have to wait till I get home to post up the sheet but.

That's what I was thinking too. Can't remember where I heard it but I heard the average loss through the drivetrain was about 50kw or so. But anyway the reason I am askin is because I had mine dynoed yesterday and I got 162kw

What kind of power figures could you expect to see from a stock R33 GTST when dynoed?

Is it the same as a regular trackday where you need the fire extinguisher bonnet restraint and the other stuff on the car to compete?

If you still need help count me in *puts up hand*, not ready to get on the track yet so I may aswell make myself useful

Hey Im looking to take my car to Dynomotive in Bayswater for service and stuff.Can anyone that has had work done by them let me know what you thought of them? Do they know there stuff, good with skylines, don't try to rip you off etc etc. cheers:cheers:

If the off button is broken you cant stop the fan, as long as the other buttons work ok you can still use it in auto or manual modes. You will still be able to switch on & off the a/c, fan speed, vent control, heat/cooling and manual/auto modes. Mine broke a couple of months ago annoying at first but aslong as all the rest of it still functions right you can get used to it.

Wasn't there to race, but still had a good day just hanging around watching the guys get stuck into it. Next time I'll have to hang around for the after race action me thinks.

How long does the drive up take appox?
