I have the B/F defi ones with the controller they ok, never use the controller tho and the daisy links do make them piss easy to install, Cant say im a big fan of defi gauges tho, Ive always like the clean simple like Autometer

How long can you leave a fine overdue? eg speeding tickets you can usually get another month or so after the due date to pay it before you need to go to court. Its a big "no rego" fine not a speeding tick though.

I had a split heater hose under the manifold that needed fixing, Was a straight piece about 60mm long 1" wide and thats why I brought some hose from Repco to replace, rather than waiting 3 weeks 30 bucks later from Nissan. Some are pretty straight forward and can be done using standard flexible hose. Those diagrams are from Nissan, they are the codes that you need to give Nissan to get the right hoses from Japan. you cannot get a kit as such, but you can order all the hoses in the diagram & like Mystery-Kid said they are quite expensive. Best thing to do is look at which hoses can be replaced with generic normal hose, and order the real awkward shaped hoses from Nissan eg: firewall entry hoses. There are a few that normal hose can replace, and will save you a lot of money, at around $30 a piece its something to consider.

I took it into a air con place and they re gassed my car to do the diagnostics test. turns out I need a new filter canister that sits by the fans as well because my one is old. So I think the switch is not working or connected as my Apexi says A/C is operating and everything but my A/C fan and compressor never comes on. Glad I have no leaks in my system tho! I wouldn't of thought it would be a hard fix for an auto sparky. just came to a hefty price to get it all fixed up. The air con place said they would need to take it to a auto sparky if i left it with them to fix up.

I was so sure it was the other way around, quick google search shows that white smoke is usually caused from rad coolant entering the engine or turbo getting burnt off.

R32 gtr hose kits are common and easily found, you can get them in blue silicone as well on ebay. I thought blue smoke was oil going past your seals, valves piston rings etc and white smoke was blown turbo seals or failing turbo?

I talked to Nissan about this. They don't stock kits well the one i went to. they need to be ordered from Japan and are quite expensive. I think around couple hundy mark, that was just heater hoses aswell. A generic hose will prob cover some of the straighter ones, @ $5 a meter I put a diagram up off all the hoses up with their part numbers and locations somewhere on here.

Think your wrong, The hks supra did a 6.89 @ 193.93mph that's the only hks car to break the 6 bracket. The r33 made 1300ps and only cracked a 7.6 The 180 made 1185ps all I can find is that it dipped into the 7s but no official times. maybe on Gran Turismo 2 it did a 6 sec et

I need the same thing, went and got my compressor tested and its not getting power, nor do i have any gas. Diagnostic basically says i need to see an auto electrician. I have a R32. That's pretty ridiculous that auto sparky's would turn down business just because its an import!

Hey all just a quick question, I brought a 32, it has had a forged rebuilt engine prob around 4 years ago but hardley driven in last couple years. Basically I did its oil chane without knowing what was previously in it, using 25w-50 semi syn. I think I should of used 5w-40 fully syn insted, it's due for another change now, does changing oils viscosity affect anything like seals etc from pressure changes??

I thought it would be a engine like the Xanavi GTR nissans own v8,, put into a body of some sort of sedan obviously but yea just my thought.

I still think that GTR is impressive I would of loved to see all the Rotary heads jaws just drop as he rips the quickest time of the day.... straight off the trailer with no idea how or if it will run down the strip... not bad for just running it in lol

ha sorry misinterpret, it was a fine as i had no rego because it had expired. but i dont see how it would be any diff, no rego is no rego full stop. its up to the cop to decide whether he should issue one for interstate. thats the risk i ment and one i wouldn't wana take. and as already posted, your clearly not a "visitor" if your licence is VIC and your car is NSW as your car becomes unregistered as soon as it comes to another state.

Just an update on the plenum, small patch on the top. Has been all re mirrored and looking mint ready for the new owner Also on the springs, the last owner said the tyres sit flush with the guard so no gaps and a mint height. I suspect they are cut? but just my observation on them. Make an offer they need to go.

I don't know if that will work, your car becomes unregistered if in another state for longer than 1 month or something. So they will be handing out no reg fines, you wana risk that?? I had one was $650. Don't want another one lol. Something needs to happen I don't know what options there are. Reality is there won't be an import scene soon so enjoy it while you can.
