    I use the the Penrite Racing 5 (5W-30) when I can find it on special, but most of the time I'll use the HPR Diesel 5 (5W-40) I have the Racing 5 in there now and it seems spin up a little quicker than the Diesel 5 that it replaced. Will be interesting to see how the thinner stuff hold up during this summer.

    it will be obvious once the new manifold goes in and its retuned, if he suddenly picks up 50kw then yeah the manifold has shit itself before then engine was stroked.

    The engine design and metallurgy is a work of art no doubt, but the rest of car probably has as many faults as modern Korean vehicles. also please quote battery replacement cost for said AMG....

    Mercedes are so over rated, my oldman has had E and C class... the amount of times they've been in for repairs he's going back to Jap built cars, the last straw was when the sunroof dislodged the whole roof limning assembly on the C230, just out of warranty too. Some of thier engines are nice but as whole they're not as good as they once were.

    you are limited to using the stock injectors as you are using the stock computer, there's a set of reconditioned injectors on feepay at the moment...

    Never been able to find the correct ring gear stopper, so I need a helper to tighten while I jam a big-arsed screwdriver into the ring gear. To get to the top bolt on the starter motor i use an impact socket then 10" wobble extension followed by normal extensions until the ratchet is near the alternator.
