  1. Yeah so true, having a selection of rings with different offsets is a must, and still occasionally you have to modify one, turbo out to dump bolts is reoccurring theme...
  2. From the album: Random Photos

  3. Hmmm... insure with justcar, disconnect alarm, and leave out front on moonless nights.
  4. well the stock one is good for 100K so that must mean the gates was installed then, so by my logic the gates timing belt will need to be replaced when you reach 350K just keep on bouncing that limiter at 9 and rock on
  5. Would also be helpful if people gave their review when they replaced their tyres, rather than the initial impressions, how quickly they wear and grip over their lifespan is important too.
  6. Would like to see Pedrosa win tonight, Marquez is doing it too easy, how is c.edwards still in motogp??
  7. what a classic roar win
  8. Oh ok, I thought you needed to have some sort of heat shield to try and reduce the heating of the compressor housing, and thus reduce the temperature of the intake charge.
  9. isn't the comp housing too close to the ex-manifold?
  10. so what is the movement? swiss, jap or chin?
  11. R32 and 33-S1, not sure about the others, also these are coming from United Arab Emerates, so it will take a month for delivery...
  12. should be able to pick up a set of genuine Nissan coil packs from amayama for $430
  13. That's what I didn't know, thought it was stock size because it bolted to the stock front pipe. Absolutely correct, my next 1K spend is on new Bilsteins. Cheers Mike.
  14. I would have thought the stock front pipe flange would have caused more restriction than that. Would also be nice to afford a custom Titanium dump/ front pipe, have you worked with titanium before? Obviously it would be difficult to shape, but how easy is it to weld?
  15. Would love to be wealthy enough to go a full custom stainless system but spending that on a relatively stock 32gtst makes no sense at all. Tight arse, and not supporting Aussie manufacturing? Oh that's why I bought Nistune, TechEdge and Hypergear. Also what's your opinion on the HP that the HPI dump would flow? it looks like it bolts up to the stock front pipe?
  16. na doubt it, 10k is nothing, it will be bearing, which allows enough seperation of the gears to do damage to teeth. You need to talk to someone else who has more experience than me.
  17. have you ever changed the oil in your diff? I know your 32 has plenty of ponies but if it still has the factory oil in it, then that is possibly why it failed and not the extra grunt. .... My gtst has a finned alloy cover.
  18. I have no experience with skyline diffs, but most lose the bearings first, then obviously if you keep driving, the crown and pinion eat themselves, and most people do keep on driving.. ffs complete rebuild is expensive, so a nice little wreckers jobbie, can be a smart choice
  19. crown, pinion, bearing and possibly a clutch pack? get a quote from diff specialist then then think about a wreckers diff with warranty and a couple of hours under the car. Personally I would be inclined to go with option 2
  20. lol....5monkeys for two flanges a bung and some pipe. I bought my entire exhaust second hand for less... $60 for mild steel 3" bell-mouth/ front pipe, $175 for new hi-flow cat, and $200 for 3/ 3-1/2" stainless catback with large mid and and big canon.
  21. I bought a genuine Nissan gasket recently from Amayama for $70
  22. Maybe they could make the cars bumper cars!.... that's called V8 Supercars
