    yeah I know, it's just I'm having a difficult time believing the OP is still running the stock dump an front pipe. I was under the impression he has already added other mods, when the dump/ exhaust is usually one of the first things that gets changed.

    Contact your local Nissan parts for a quote and make sure they give you the actual part number. Then do a parts search at Amayam japan, I'm sure you see a large difference in price. I received a small order from them and saved a packet, Nissan Brisbane city wanted $19 each for dump pipe studs I got 4 for that price, they also wanted $130 for a ex-manifold gasket, got it from amayama for $70 Postage is very reasonable too.

    Did you get new injectors by any chance? I put some Bosch EV14s in and they make a loud ticking sound, which is easy to misinterpreted as lifter noise.

    I do want Magnussen to challenge for the championship, plus if I had the coin, one of my first purchases would be a MP4-12C or 650S. Even though I am a Lotus and Williams fan. (don't particularly care for their current drivers) And for those who are old enough to remember weekend at Bernies, this turned up in my inbox today, oh the memories of how much I relied on engine braking in my old XY, and the sound mmmmmmm

    They'll probably say bigger mid muffler, replace the cannon with oval.

    Resonators and hotdogs are just pipes with bulges in them, and really only effect the tone of the sound. Just take it back and ask them what can be done.

    They're the experts, they should be able to give you a couple of options. My cannon and oval are SS jasma, not sure on brand as they were second hand, but they seem like they are well made, with nil restriction or step-downs.
