    Your original post said resonator? So take it back to the shop and ask them to make it quieter. if you haven't scratched it up they may take it back and do a deal with a different setup. My setup is 3" bell mouth dump to a catco ceramic, then to a large straight through oval, then it steps up the 31/2" to the cannon. tested at 88db. na think I will stick around a bit longer.

    Must apologise to Humbler and the OP, obviously I had far too much beverage at the BBQ yesterday. ...as has already been mentioned if you want to quiet it down, then loose the resonator/ hotdog and replace it with the largest oval muffler you can fit there.
