    The only thing I would add to that is a new fuel pump. The second worst thing that can happen to a 20 year old car after a shredded timing belt, is a failng fuel pump.

    I wouldn't leave the wire attached to the plug just in case it shorts on something, did you check to see if your timing light correctly reads from the loop at the harness? If it does then there's no need to use the sparkplug lead method at all.

    I think squeal is a combination of pad, disc, and tightness or the bushes, but mainly pad and disc.

    probably full of gunk and you can't see them properly, remove the cas plug and try cranking until you get the marks around in a spot where you can clean them.

    it looks a little low to me, I would have thought it should be around 25 degs, but without knowing what the timing map looks like I can't be sure. One of the tuner around here will have more insight than my noob opinion.

    go for a run and log the data, then check to see if timing is matching up the main map

    Bought a bottle of Dalwhinnie last week and fcuking yum, a little sweet but with a mild smokey peat body, finish is very crisp with slightly a vanilla flavour.

    Economy being the key word, plus sponsors do not like seeing crew members on fire regardless of their dancing ability, or visibility of flame. Personally refuelling is ok by me, as it adds another system to the game and more to go wrong hence the word system, in that regard FFS bring back manual boxes, let thoses monkeys earn the big bucks too!

    When I was running around trying to find a 3" cat I dropped into my local exhaust shop and was chatting about systems to one of the fitters, he said the local made mufflers were better than the imported ones.

    I've got a couple of R32GTST out font my place, one with a Mitsubishi branded cas, the other with something else? What I did notice when I swap the cas over, is that the engine that originally had the mitus cas, required full advance to achieve the correct static timing with the other brand cas attached.

    An automotive engineer will offer you a smoke test, but some of the backyard boys might suggest you listen very carefully to every rubber pipe, then spray spay start -u - bastard on them to seen the RPM increase...
