  1. Using these two calculators I get you would need 940cc/min @ 90% duty... http://www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk/calculator4.php http://www.deatschwerks.com/resources/fuel-calculators/fuel-injector-calculator
  2. if you're going to do all that then be sure to run a straight edge over the flanges, they have a tendency to warp too
  3. You don't want it moving off the bottom of gauge, let along getting any where near half, your turbo is water cooled so you don't want to go on boost at all. Better safe than sorry so you may as well NOT drive it, if it was your idler or tensioner bearing it will make the noise on start up and when idling, it will make a screeching sound that has a clear rotation sound, if its a turbo gasket it won't have that rotating type sound.
  4. A very short drive from first start in the morning would be OK like around the block no further, if the noise is still there when the belts are removed then that could indicate a cam belt idler or tensioner bearing failure.
  5. so take the ic out and pressure test it
  6. vtool is good and RBR is good, that's why I want to see nando go to RBR...

  13. could also be the fuel pump
  14. rb20det... lol yes do change it
  15. No need to take the top of the plenum off, I did my injectors and only removed the crossover pipe and throttle body. Used a 13mm ratchet ring spanner for the front fuel rail bolt and socket/ universal/ 6" extension for the rear bolt, you will need 6mm hex for the 4 throttle body cap screws.
  16. haven't seen them there, but the other hotspot for radar guns is persse rd about 500m before Compton rd
  17. I mainly use the Compton to beenligh rd section, might be time to hide boost controller anyway, my exhaust should be very close to legal though.
  18. As per title, I'm after a single in stock injector in good working order, prefer Brisbane southside. cheers mike.
  19. Is there one particular spot on Gowan road that they wait or just random?
  20. sorry that should read... buy a aftermarket exhaust system, then a turbotech bleed valve and boost your positive manifold pressure until the stock computer says uncle.
  21. buy a turbotech boost bleed valve and increase you boost until you run into problems
  22. Haha too easy, injectors in rough tune done, made it home ok, beer O'clock time
