    By all means drain your oil but don't through it out just yet, why not give the genuine nissan 7.5w-30 a go I hear it is not too expensive?

    I recently did an oil change to Valvoline 10w-40 semi synth engine armor, and to my horror the engine made knocking/ slapping sound on cold starts in the morning. A couple of days later I dumped that oil and replaced it with some really cheap Gulf Western 10w-30 mineral oil, knocking sound immediately vanished. My RB20DET is low Kms though.

    Rust converter does nothing on bare metal, if you hit it with a wire brush back to metal you need to etch prime it then paint it. As for the leak, you need to use the correct goop, the stuff that does not set, so if you need to remove the tail light assembly some time in the future, it is not glued in place. Ask at a place that does automotive glass.

    Well you may as well leave the 100mm in now that it's installed , wind up the boost to 12 psi and see what it feels like.

    One of my mates just started a new job with a company that does this cryo stuff. Since I plan to do my brakes soon, I'll ask him how much to do the rotors. Might make that skim job last a bit longer, after that they are for the dust bin,

    If you bought these rims new, then not only should they come with a 12 month manufactures warranty, but you also have an implied warranty. Basically that means they should be fit for the purpose they are designed for, be free of defects, and should last a reasonable amount of time under normal conditions. http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/815360

    I don't own one of your turbos as yet Stao, my responce was pure hyperthetical, and sarcastic. My point is: All dynos are not identical, All engineers/ mechanics have not the same skills, All tuners have not the same skills, ...and yet I am 99.95% confident that all of your turbos will produce less than 5% difference in results than your magic [rollseyes/] turbo, given they are used with the same hardware.

    ssshhh... secersts of the dyno ; If I give you back my turbo, and you you install it into your test car, and it makes less killerwasps than your published magic turbo, what is the prize? I think we all understand what you're say saying Stao, it's just a very few who don't.

    Sure it's not something mind numbingly basic, like the hinge bolt on the power steering pump not tightened up, same goes with the alternator hinge bolt?

    that works out @ $56.30AUD per 4.7L and you will get 4 changes from the 5 Gal. Not bad a all.

    If the family here in bne is father/mother/gran then sell it to them, then when they transfer the registration over to him, they declare it a gift and no duty is payable, they only have to fork out for another safety certificate. Let me guess, this guys name is Stewart, and he's from WA?
