  1. Would like to see a dynograph of that
  2. all the punters looking under the bonnet, thinking 11s out of an RB20?
  3. Block em off like Jonny said with a coke can gasket, then go for a run and see if there is much difference.
  4. Even more so if the diameter of the diaphragm is lager than the seating surface of the valve.
  5. Pretty sure Tom said he's using an auto, but with a manual yeah when you get off the throttle when changing gears the recirculation valve will stop the compressor from stalling.
  6. Oops my apologies , Ben, Brett, and xgtrx are correct, with the vac line removed and blocked the valve will leak. I'll slink off now...
  7. I understand what you're saying, but the vacuum created when the throttle plate closes acts against the spring in the valve to open it, remove the vacuum line and the spring pressure alone is enough to keep the valve closed, or should be. When I replaced my turbo I made up a pvc plug and pressure tested the intake, after I lubed the stem it easily held 20 psi
  8. Actually they're not that bad, a bit of molly lube on the stem of the valve helped my stock rb20 recirculation valve hold close to 30 psi
  9. Removing the vacuum line will help keep the valve closed. Whether it leaks is another matter.
  10. I wouldn't buy from ebay as most are china copies, only trust SAU sponsors i.e. brakes direct!
  11. best street pad i've used are remsa from brake direct, only downside is the dust, cheap too!
  12. Punch in your vin number at amayama and you should be able to find it... http://nissan.epcdata.ru/
  13. It shouldn't cost that much for a touch-up on the tune, ask your tuner what he / she thinks.
  14. Get an inspection from the RACWA and go from their report.
  15. Cusco did make ARBs many moons ago, they were supposedly very good, so if you can find them on yahoo they might be worth consideration, they are hollow too so weigh less than the solid whiteline equivalent.
  16. ... anmayam https://www.amayama.com/en/
  17. So whats the recommended torque setting with new crush washer?
  18. Yes, flange is always the best option the rb20 stock bov I tested held 20 psi easy, and started to leak around 30 psi ... i was surprised too.
  19. How dose Plazmaman do their recirculation valve, or can you still use the stock item?
  20. Might back Nico tonight.
  21. CFMEU...cough!
  22. I've had 3 actuators rb20 25 and the Kando / turbosmart/copy... the spring pressure of the 25 is about the same as that of the Kando with 1bar spring, the difference lie in the respective size of their diaphragm. I chose to keep the 10psi rb20det actuator which handles 1bar with a bleed valve quite easily. How much psi are you going to need?
  23. kando/ kinugawa sorry
