v8 eater replied to v8 eater's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Sorry i posted in the wrong section, admin move to the cars for sale section. -
Selling or swapping my 1998 Automatic 4 door R34 Skyline, will consider anything more family friendly (kid on the way) so no performance cars. After being yellow stickered, this car passed pits on March 2018 with all the listed mods, the mods were engineered and have Department of Transport permits (so cops can't sticker it again). Car is currently my daily, never skipped a beat. Car has just been serviced. Car complied in Australia on 08/2006 Factory leather seats Car ABS, Traction control and HICAS Colour dipped in matte gunmetal grey with purple tinge metaliser throughout car was originally grey - Can arrange for car to be professionally re-dipped for $800-$1000 to the colour and finish you want. Low mileage 15X,XXX km Aircon but requires regas Electric windows Keyless entry After market stereo and speaker upgrade Full xforce exhaust system Pedders adjustable coilovers Upgraded turbo, turbo kid and wastegate Brand new Kings rims with 80 percent tread all round Front mount intercooler Oversized dual thermo fans Aftermarket NisTune ECU I have probably missed a few other minor upgrades, feel free to ask. This cars an absolute pleasure to drive, handles really really well. I am a professional mechanical engineer and can't sit on phone/email during work, so please be patient if you're messaging during business hours, I will get back to you on my breaks or after work. For insurance reasons, no test drives, I will drive it until you bring the cash and I have deposit in my hand. $10,500 ONO - PM me for contact details

Hello guys, Up for sale is my Turbo R34 Skyline. Six months ago, I bought the car with the intention of putting bodykit and using it as a daily, but since then, I have decided to move into bikes, the skyline has to go. I have colour matching bodykit that i will throw in with the car (pics of the bodykit and what it would look like is provided - its a vertex flared side skirts and rear bumper). The cars just had a brand new battery installed and the brake disks just got CNC machined. Its fairly stock standard apart from a few minor mods like dark window tinting, Turbosmart Electronic Turbo Timer, a fully adjustable GFB Deceptor blow off valve (also comes with the original stock blow off valve if needed) it sounds really nice when on atmospheric settings and works really well in plumback. The car also comes with a JVC headunit and aftermarket speakers/tweeters. The dashboard's backlighting has been modified to aftermarket blue LED. Apart from the sports aftermarket bodykit, I will be throwing in a single spare 20 inch chrome wheel with very wide tyre fitted. I also have another set of spare original Nissan plastic rear bumper and side skirts in really good condition which you can also have if you want.. Car has just been serviced and the next service is due on 160,000km The tyres have plenty meat all around.. For more info or organising viewing, please pm me your number and ill text/call u asap.. Cheers

Wanted: R34 Blow Off Valve
v8 eater replied to v8 eater's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
thanks kitto, will be looking into it.. i know it misfires and will mess up with the sudden "loss" of air which should have been recirculated but I didnt think its too bad besides looking a couple hp, correct? if so, i only wannna put one on for the wank factor and am not too bothered about the losing a bit of performance as its a daily and i dont hammer or expect it too much from it anyway.. ps. could a moderator maybe move my post to the correct catagory? not too sure which catagory its under.. last time i was online the forum had a perth only for sale section but thats closed i hear.. what a shame -
Hi guys, Im buying an r34 blow off valve, must be atmospheric (not the stock recirculating valve).. its for an automatic rb25det.. please let me know what you got and what ur asking for it.. A pic would be handy thanks in advance

ah nice bro id be happy with 260 myself to be honest.. dont want something overkill and 260 is more than enough but you dont find the gt30r bit big for what youd need? or is it responsive and all? if so, whats your specs?

mate if you dont wanna help, its as simple as not coming back to the same thread which "made you sick". I hate tossers like u who use complaining as a tool to show off that you know shit. Humble yourself please, kthxbye. Herb and Tom thanks heaps for the info! and Whats that feature called? just ethanol sensor support or its got a specific name? also how does it know when you switched from ethanol to 98? different tanks and a specific way of switching? and yes, the work will be done by certified mechanic not myself.. its a shame that im doing Mechanical engineering third year and barely know how most of these things work.. I cant wait till i put this crap we learn into practice lol stupid uni -.-

Thanks everyone.. Hyper gear, I will be considering it thanks josh sort of what i wanted to know but one more thing, im a bit confused with e85.. thats a methanol fuel and is rare at local pumps but what sort of setup i need to run e85? 1000id and an ecu tune? thats all?
-
A shift kits a mod which lets u hold on to gears longer? well i think ill be using a gt35r but only boost it to achieve 300-350 rwhp (so baby boost for such turbo) so u think id need a stall converter? whats it for anyway? i know its like a clutch but works on fluid contact but dont understand why it would need a bigger stall converter? =/

Thanks Scotty, So i read @"highflow stock turbo/hypergear's big turbo with stock front housing (looks stock and still runs an internal wastegate" and hes referring to the stock turbo - so i go to Xspeed for example and ask them to high-flow my turbo? So fitting a big turbo in a stock housing is called hypergearing? also where can i get big turbo with stock front housing? who would do it? and how would a bigger turbo fit a small housing?

Hi guys, So ive just bought an r32 (coz i love the shape) but want to drop a rb25 in it.. I want to run about 350-400rwhp and want it to be street legal to id have to do the permits etc.. Ive never attempted such project before so I need a bit of help/advice - better safe than sorry. The mods I was thinking of having the following upgraded: Turbo Injectors Fuel pump ECU + tune FMIC 6-9 puck HD clutch Now here are my questions: 1) I been hearing a lot about the Gt35r turbos but unsure if theyll do or bit expensive and might as well go with cheaper? 2) 440cc or too low? 3) a lot use Walbro is there a specific pump needed or mainly all walbros are high flow rate? 4) what difference between ECU + tune or just a nistune (daughter board) + tune?? 5) how will 6 or 9 puck clutches differ? 6) would i need a GTR gearbox or would stock do? 7) what would engineers certificates cost roughly? and engineers cert is done after all the upgrades? or before? 8) would i need aftermarket pistons/conrods? (ie forged) 8) have i missed anything? ie would i need an aftermarket suspension system to handle power/thrust? if so, i like a smooth ride (not rough) any recommendations? and finally, how much will all this cost? roughly between what two figures? MANNNNY THANKS

Looks Like A Faulty 02 Sensor (New Member)
v8 eater replied to madmatsmadhouse's topic in General Maintenance
get this tool with it mate, coz its gonna be a bitch to take out.. youll need to get around the wire and the only tool u can use is this i reckon.. spanners wont fit and its always seized up so u will have to use a lot of torque to take it out.. I had to hammer then large wrench i had to create enough torque to leave it come undone.. you will also find WD40 handy and a warm engines always good.. http://www.kudosmoto...22mm-p-640.html its pretty staright forward if you know where the sensor is.. if u dont, let me know and ill point you to it, so all u do is warm engine up spray wd40 fit socket (link posted above) onto sensor and try to loosen it out.. once its out, disconnect the plug at the other end replace sensor with the new one (screw it in place and plug in the connection) -
