Still looking for one of these. Can anyone help me out here! Any colour is fine, will be resprayed!

Hey guys, Had a quick hunt around but couldn't find anything definitive. Was looking at changing engine mounts in my R34 GTT at some point (when they wear a bit more) and wanted to know if anyone has advice on using the Nismo mounts or going with stock Nissan ones. I know there obviously stiffer and all that, but what real world difference is there? How much vibration increase is there? And do you feel any more engine torque through the car body as the engine twists? Thanks

R34 Neo Custom Intercooler Piping Size
Shoujiki replied to Selleck 34GTT's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Sounds like you've already made your mind up Stock airbox, exhaust manifold, intake manifold and return flow cooler connecting to stock piping locations is good for 300kw and fairly responsive. As stated above, unless your chasing tons of horsepower, there is just minimal gain other than it looking good/neat. For a street car, do all the above and keep it looking stock for law enforcement. -
AEM Patch Harness (35-2998) Nissan 300ZX/Skyline Brand new AEM Patch Harness. Model number 35 - 2998. According to AEM Fits: 1989 to 1993 Nissan 180SX 1.8L Turbo 1990 to 1995 Nissan 300ZX 3.0L V6 1990 to 1995 Nissan 300ZX 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo 1990 to 1995 Nissan 300ZX 3.0L V6 1990 to 1995 Nissan 300ZX 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo 1992 to 1994 Nissan Maxima 1993 to 1996 Nissan S14 2.0L Turbo 1989 to 2004 Nissan Skyline ALL HOWEVER, please note this was purchased to install into a 1998 Nissan Skyline (R34) 25GT-T and the ECU plug was different on this model. Looking online it seems to fit every other Skyline model other than the R34 25GT-T. Double check the ECU connector shape before purchasing just to be sure. Use this to connect auxiliary devices and electronics to your ECU without touching your stock wiring harness. Makes it nice and easy when selling the car or returning to stock/removing electronics to just remove the harness and plug the stock loom back in. Also allows wiring to be neatly spliced out of the car on a workbench, and then installed afterwards. Pickup in Dandenong North, Victoria or postage available at $10. Price: $200.00 Contact Details: 0419387313 / PM

Seems like it! haha. The going rate for these 2nd hand seems to be the $700 mark. Was hoping for a slightly cheaper option! So might have to stretch my budget..

R34 Gt-T Swaybar Choice
Shoujiki replied to r34davE's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
No probs. They compare exactly the same as the fixed bars. The only difference is you have the flexibility to adjust if required. The only reason someone wouldn't get adjustable is if they didn't want to spend the extra. But to me, if your talking $50-60 a bar difference, just get adjustable and know that you can swap it around if required. I've never adjusted mine after installation, but one day it might be fun to try out and see what different settings do. -

R34 Gt-T Swaybar Choice

Basically the holes that are further toward the main length of bar (inner) will make the bar stiffer. The further out outwards, the softer. -

^ That's correct. Middle hole is bar size. Outer holes are +/- 1mm. -

I run what 34GeeTeeTee has too. 27/24 adjustable and i've set mine fairly stiff (i think middle at the back and stiff at the front). Same Tein S-Tech springs I think that you have too. Handles like a train with minimal body roll. It's a firmish ride but firm in a comfortable way, if that makes sense. I highly recommend it! -

Kr4 Sonic Silver Engine Bay Paint Code
Shoujiki replied to jays r33 gtr's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I have the same colour in my bay (car is KR4). I had to touch some areas up around the cowl area and couldn't find anywhere that suggested what colour is was. I ended up trying a few mixes, the closest one I could get was a light grey from dupli color mixed with a small amount of "duck egg blue" model paint. Actually came up spot on after a few goes at getting the ratio! I look forward to the day when I can remove the engine and strip everything and get a nice coat of KR4 gloss in the engine bay mm mmm. -
All sorted. Got a set of 2nd hand sensors off a V-Spec GTR from Skyline Spares in NSW. Top guys and made it all very easy for these hard to find parts.

Thanks mate, already got one!

Hey guys, I'm sure I made a thread about this but can't seem to find it. Anyways, i'm still after one of these. Has to be genuine Nissan (no fg). I got offered one when I first made a thread buy it was a bit too rich for me so wondering if anyone else has one laying around. Will be resprayed so colour and scratches are no issue (although need it to be fully intact/no cracks etc) Cheers, Kurt

Hey guys, I'm having trouble sourcing one of these harnesses out for my R34. Apparently AEM has a back order issue and won't be available to make any until after September. There's a few places in the States who are confident they can get them in, but wanted to check if anyone had one sitting around, even if it's used, that I can buy locally. Cheers, Kurt

Never even heard of Resma! -
Ok so I got another switch to try. Same thing, no Auto Up. So there is an issue somewhere else it seems. I noticed in the wiring that someone has cut the "White/Red" thick wire that switches the drivers window motor and connected it to the other White/Red wire next to it. Strangest thing. When you remove the connector they put in, the drivers window has no power, but the passenger one works. Connector back in and both work (but no Auto Up). I'm wondering why this was done! I tested re-connecting the drivers switched White and Red wire back together and all works ok, except Auto Up still. I heard there was a reset switch on the motor, can anyone confirm that?

Thanks for that mate. It's interesting that when you look at any of the common performance workshops around and what they stock, none stock EBC pads. Either PMU, Ferodo or Bendix. Makes me think the EBC hard to get, unproven or not that good on rotors. -
