Hey guys, Had this in my head for a while and was mentioned to me yesterday again. I've got a Blitz Profec 2 Spec B controller in my car, has the "lo" and "hi" setting. Now let's say, with any controller, you tuned the engine and maps to 10psi. Car drives great, good power, economy etc. Now what happens when you drop the controller to a lower setting, say.. 7-8psi? Does this mean the ECU reads the lower pressure and doesn't "use all of it's map"? Is the boost sensor a "multiplier" of sorts? Or will the car run rich as and foul plugs etc because the ECU is tuned for a higher boost pressure? Thanks!

Bump! Updated and removed parts I have sourced and now have. Added in one more interior panel, not sure what you'd call it but it's a panel that hides the screws for the drivers side mirror, its a triangle shape with 2 clips. Mine has 1 busted clip so need a new panel.

Just found this thread via Google of all things! Yes the GT-T only came with the reflector/red lens. However.. there is mounts at the back there to accommodate a bracket. So i'm gonna have a play around and try to make something up, whether I use something from another car, or just make a bracket with some veroboard and LED's, not sure yet. The car deserves a bit of luxury i think!

Yeah i actually found all the clips for my boot and what i needed from a local wreck here in Victoria... he still has quite a few on the car so give him a bell ... he has a R34 wrecking thread . Suji is his username. So i need these last few things: - The tray the pulls down on the right bottom of the dash, mine is busted on one side and it doesn't hinge too well - Nismo Billet Oil Cap - GTR Courtesy lights/brackets/plugs from the doors - A nicer strut tower brace, Nismo perhaps .. show me what you have! - I have the flare now, BUT, i need the "holder" part that screws to the kick panel itself .. anyone got a car that has the flare removed but still the holder? - One of those boot corner mounted sub boxes Thanks!

Gotcha, thanks mate. Bigger gap = more spark = better yield for a burn. Makes sense. So the one step colder heat range is correct for using Splitfire coil packs?

Hey guys, I know this is beating a dead horse but I've been looking for some definitive information on which plugs to use on my engine. There's allot of people using different heat ranges, Iridium, etc but i'd just like some good solid "this is what you should use". Now i haven't checked whats in there at the moment (however whatever is in there, may not be perfect so i thought i'd ask). The motor has a FMIC, Splitfire Coil Packs and is running a controller between 8 (lo) and 10 (hi) psi. From reading, the "BCPR7ES – 8 or 11" seems to be what people say to use with the Split Fires (since it states to use one colder heat range?) Do I use a -8 or -11 gaping? And i'd assume Iridium are a waste of time, since it's not that hard to to get to the plugs to change standard coppers ones? Thanks guys.

There those twist half out and pull kinda ones. -2x Clips that secure the plastic cover on the boot hinge. - The tray the pulls down on the right bottom of the dash, mine is busted on one side and it doesn't hinge too well. - And that radio surround, did that end up selling? Am located 10mins from Clayton so can pickup whenever!

Seems like people are just messy when doing work and don't put stuff back properly! Common thing with people that don't know how to work on cars and take care of them haha! Yeah I'd say the courtesy lights are wired up for certain models. I'm sure the GTR has them in, as i've seen a few lit up. They must just use the same door panels. I'd like mine working though, be a nice touch. Got a few parts already from some great members here, thanks so far! So far have got : - There is some type of solenoid at the back of the motor, mounted to a bracket, one electrical connection and 2 vac hoses to it.. i need one of these. - Apexi or Nismo GT Radiator Cap - Nismo Clear side and front indicators. - A Nismo Gear knob .. the leather style/stitched ones. My stocky is showing signs of wear. I also have had 2 offers for a flare (which i appreciate!) however there sold without the holder, mine has the holder removed, so I'd need that too. Around $50-60 is all I can swing to. Bumparoo up you go!

How do these kind of cars get registered in Vic! haha, here I am worrying about getting my 34 GTT all neat and tidy (boost controller lol) in Vic and there's 600HP GTR's running around... do they have any trouble with the authorities? What does one say if your pulled over at a defect station?!

I'd prefer white, but open to other colors if there in good condition! Also, prefer one that's not too modified, stocker the better. RWC and Compliance is a must of course! Hey guys, Nice to be a part of this forum. I've signed up here because I'm looking at upgrading my existing car to a Skyline. I've always loved the shape and I think I'd be really happy with one. Specifically, i'm after a white R34 GT-T 5 Speed. Preferably unmolested, but some small mods are ok. Now i know i can put this in the the WTB and i probobly will. However I'm finding some things a bit strange in my quest to find one.
