I dare say your 200ZR runs the RB20DET NICS (it'll say nics on the plenum) ??? An great upgrade for the standard turbo is a turbo off an RB25. The standard turbo suffers from boost drop off at high rpm. It's a straight bolt-on, but you need the water line off the RB25 or a silvertop RB20 as the banjo fittings are bigger than the redtop RB20's (silvertop RB20's waterlines are same size as RB25) As for bolting the silvertop head on the redtop bottom end, I personally would just buy a silvertop front cut, sell the parts you don't need including your redtop motor complete. That way it'll work out alot cheaper. If you want more info, try R31 Skyline Club

fjs r good motors and respond realy well 2 mods, a mate has a ra40 celica with a fj20det its a stock engine with ems,fmi,3",t04 on 10psi and made 310 rwhp no shit, its ran a low 13, i own a z18et bluebird and a rb30e(soon et ) r31, as much as i like the skyline people expect them 2b fast but if u want 2piss people off beat them in a bluey :flamed: up the bluey p.s. this is pro910 logged in as hr31_rb20det

Jap Hr31 tails lights are getting very hard to find indeed, and would fetch a fair price (guess around $170-$200 per light) Don't know about the Dr30 taillights, but would expect them to be harder to find and most likely more expensive aswell.

Hey Guys/Girls, I was just wondering what places you got you intercooler piping done in and around the Ipswich/Brisbane area? Can you please give some prices that your's cost, whether it be stainless or HPC coated etc... as i'm not sure which one i'm getting done yet. I've got the Intercooler already for my HR31 Coupe, which will be fitted to the car prior to fitting the intercooler piping, so the piping and silicone hoses is all that needs to be made/fitted. Nah they are different, redtop = low impedance, silvertop = high impedance. But i'm sure they are the same size.

Bought my 1987 HR31 Coupe 6 months ago, had 37,000k's when purchased, now has 42900k's on it now. And YES the are geniune k's as been check out by different mechanics. I'm the first owner in Australia and got a 3 year warranty on it. 4.5 out of 5 rating from auction in Japan.

What lets the nics down is the size of the turbo, it's tiny. Stock turbo on my coupe is 8psi but by the time you reach 7000rpm it drops to 5.5psi. Thats with 3 inch exhaust with custom dump and K&N pod filter. Once you replace the turbo it produces alright power. The thing that lets down the nics rb20 is the ecu, with an r33 turbo bolted on, you can only run about 11-12psi max as the ecu starts overfueling like crazy.

I'm 6 ft 4" and fit nicely with heaps of room in my HR31 Coupe

I got my alarm with remote start installed at Autobarn at Slacks Creek. They do a very good job and cost around $800 bucks installed.

Just a quick question , do they stock many hr31 2 door and passage parts? Cheers
