Bump...

Not sure what boost/power he was running at superlap but it has made 650rwhp on 21psi but around QR he only runs alot less boost due to wheelspin (which I believe is around 400-450rwhp). I'll tell him about this thread this afternoon as he's tuning my car atm.

My normal running temp is 78 degrees, around 83 degrees with air-con on and the highest I've ever recorded was 95 degrees (track work). This is all with a standard nissan thermostat.

Hey Dave, Nah it doesn't have a build plate. On my RB20 it started making boost at 3000rpm and made 18psi around 4300-4500rpm, though on an RB25 I guess it would come on 500rpm earlier then a 20, so say 18psi around 3800-4000rpm.

Fs: Highflowed Vg30 Turbo

Stock, though the holes on the actuator braket I modified slightly to give a little more preload. -
VG30 Highflowed turbo (OP6 rear housing) built by Precision Turbochargers, running t04b internals and is plain bearing. Has done approximately 8000 to 10,000k's in the last 1 and a half years which most of the k's being highway driving. But other then general street/highway duties, this turbo has done 3 drag meets (about 15 runs) and a couple of hours on the dyno. This turbo on my RB20 was making 300rwhp on 18psi, though on a RB25 I'd expect closer to 350rwhp on 18psi. This turbo is in great condition, has the same amount of shaft play as when first installed. Also includes a modified oil line which is need to run this turbo aswell as the banjo bolts on the turbo side for the water in/out. All thats needed to bolt this turbo on is the elbow and the metal oil drain pipe off an RB25 turbo. NOTE: Also if required I can supply a R33 RB25 actuator. Asking $900 + postage. Located in Ipswich QLD (just outside Brisbane) Please PM for further info.

Just to update I loaded it up in 4th and made full boost just a fraction after 4000rpm, so nearly 500rpm better than my old vg30 highflow.
-
Finally finished the install off my external gate ATR43 with a .63 rear housing and all I can say is wow After the first test run and it's making full boost at 4300 rpm (compared to 4500rpm with previous VG30 highflow) and the external gate sounds off it's tits Can't wait to run it in and get it on the dyno for a re-tune.
-
I'm sure Stao and a few others maybe interested in this, took off my old highflow today and did a trial fit of the ATR43G3 with was modified for external gate which was posted by Stao a couple of weeks ago. Size comparison between the old VG30 highflow (t04 internals) and the ATR43 G3 A few pics of the test fit to make sure the external gate and screamer pipe clears all the air-con lines, will be all bolted in and finished off tomorrow, then to run the turbo in and off to the dyno for a tune.

Yeah can't wait to race in the cooler air, last year my car lost 3-4mph after 3 straight runs. Hopefully a 12.xx @ 110+mph is on the cards, but will be happy with a low 13.
-
Sweet as, don't worry my times will be shitouse as I only have a little motor Though aslong as it does a good skid times are irrelevant The last piece of my turbo setup arrived so it'll be all hands on deck fitting it on the weekend.
-
I have run against bikes in the past, but I haven't seen any cars race against bikes in a while. Hopefully the last piece of the puzzle shows up today or tomorrow so I can fit the new turbo on the weekend

JJR Coil Packs Vs Oem Vs Splitfire Vs Other
HR31_RB20DET replied to 4drftn's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Bought a set of the yellowjackets and so far so good, my stock coils started to fail at 1.3 bar. -
I'm only running an RB20 so would boost control still be an issue, as .82 rear on an rb20 would be a no go.
-
Is it possible to get the ATR43G3 with a .63 rear? As I was looking at getting either a 3071 or 3076 with a .63 rear.

Windows 7 - What Do You Guys Think Of It?
HR31_RB20DET replied to KR4-GTR's topic in PC & Games Discussion
So far, so good and I'm liking it very much Just upgraded from XP 32 bit to 7 Professional 64 bit, couldn't believe how much easier and quicker it was to install than XP. The 64 bit version hasn't had an issues so far with installing all my programs and devices.
